I wish every human being nothing but love: Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey has again tried to close the lid on his controversial tweets about the Tiger Woods sex scandal saying: “I wish every human being nothing but love.”
The comedian’s uncharacteristic comments hit the headlines when he suggested Tiger Wood’s wife Elin must have known about her husband’s affairs.
He apologised on Twitter but apparently felt he needed to say more.
In a new statement, the actor said: “To anyone whose grievances have chosen me as their cause, I would say first, that I recognise that tendency in myself, but if you knew me well, you’d see that your resentment has been misplaced.
“I wish every human being nothing but love and immeasurable happiness. Now, I’m going to re-enter the Twitter stream and see if there is anyone left to offend.”
Carrey sparked the controversy when he tweeted: “Elin had [to be] a willing participant on the ride [for] whatever reason.”
After his remarks sparked the backlash, he stated: “I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibility 4 it is shared by both people.”

One of Tiger Woods’ 14 alleged mistresses has landed herself a new TV gig.
Rachel Uchitel – the first to emerge in a long line of the shamed golfer’s lovers – is reportedly being given a slot on US entertainment show Extra.
It comes after the New York party hostess was interviewed by presenter Mario Lopez on a recent episode of the tea-time show.
She talked about growing up, her beloved fiance who died in the 9/11 terror attacks and her plans for the future.
Uchitel “so impressed producers that she’s been offered a job as a special correspondent”, a rep said.
Playing to her strengths and background, she will report on celebrities and nightlife hotspots.
However, despite finding fame through bedding disgraced golf superstar Woods, the 35-year-old will not be talking about their scandalous relationship.
A show source told the newspaper that the leggy brunette will touch on the topic of romance by revealing her desire to find and marry her perfect man.
