It seems that the singer who some time ago got together with Eddie Cibrian despite the man is married and trumping her own husband has now apparently sent a cease and desist letter to Eddie Cibrian’s wife. It seems that LeAnn Rimes is accusing her boyfriend’s wife of slander. You have to admire her sense of morals on this one… not only did LeAnn Rimes still the woman’s husband, but now she’s claiming moral high-ground too. Just like pillaging and burning a village and then calling the denizens barbarians. Eddie Cibrian sure made a wise choice with this new girlfriend of his.

It seems the singer from The Saturdays and the JLS member have taken quite a shine to each other fairly recently. It wasn’t as orthodox as some may think. Joss Stone recently admitted that she offered her house to her record company in order to release “Color Me Free” since they didn’t consider it a big enough commercial success to bother with. Joss Stone said the following on the matter: “It got to the point where I said, ‘Take my house and release the record.’ The thing is, I just made an album and I wanted people to like it. I did not think anything of it. Why did it have to be a big deal? Why does it have to focus on being a number one song? Fuck that, I can’t be bothered.” Well, if Joss Stone wants to be an artist, she’d better give up trying to reason with the record company and just perform locally, otherwise, she’s just a manufacturer in the big industry of music.

Joss Stone said the following on the matter: “We love for a man to be protective over us, we love for a man to want and have a little tiny bit of jealousy. So you go for those guys, but when you want to be the free spirit that you are and just disappear or go on a road trip for two days or to go on tour or whatever that is, then you run into problems because you’ve chosen a man that’s a little bit protective and possessive and jealous.” Oh yay, thanks to Joss Stone, the universe makes so much more sense now! Singer Nick Lachey is getting back with his ex Vanessa Minnillo.

Nick, who used to be married to singer Jessica Simpson, has been spotted out a lot in Las Vegas with his ex TV personality Vanessa.

The 35-year-old and Minnillo began dating after Nick divorced Simpson in 2006.

Vanessa, 28, and Lachey have been seen enjoying singer Matt Goss’ new show at the Palms Casino Resort, partying in nightclub LAX and eating out a couple of times at First Food & Bar in Sin City.

The pair have previously dated for nearly three years and Vanessa has even starred in Nick’s music video What’s Left Of Me.

Zooey Deschanel loved learning to sing like Janis Joplin, she has revealed.

The actress was due to play the star in a movie but the project has fallen through.

She said: “It seems kind of dead now. It’s such a fantastic story and a dream role, but it doesn’t seem to be want to made, and you can’t force these things. I don’t think any of the work I did was lost. I enjoyed doing the research, so I don’t regret any of it.”

Actress and musician Deschanel has sung in several of her films and released her debut album last year.

I don’t care how many times Kara DioGuardi says otherwise, I still say she was brought on to replace Paula Abdul as a judge on American Idol. The new judge recently talked to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show saying “The way I’m understanding it is that it was her choice to leave. I never was here to replace her. It would be impossible to replace Paula Abdul. She’s an incredible talent. She is somebody who helped make the show as big as it is. How could you ever replace that?…If anything, she was really somebody who helped me because it was awkward at times being the fourth person.”

Hilary Duff and Carrie Underwood cheer on their men at the game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Ottawa Senators this past Wednesday at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Canada. Hilary was there to support her Senators boyfriend Mike Comrie and Carrie was there for her own Senators boyfriend Mike Fisher. The two blondes may have been good luck charms for their guys as their team won over the Lightning, 3-2 in overtime. Carrie was even seen jumping up and down after her Mike scored a goal. These ladies sure love their hockey and they sure love their respective Mikes.

American Idol champion Jordin Sparks belted out the national anthem at the first game of the LA Dodgers’ new spring training stadium in Phoenix, Arizona last Sunday afternoon. The 19-year old singer donned a Dodgers baseball cap at Camelback Ranch as they hosted the Chicago White Sox in a 3-2 loss. The Dodgers are looking to improve on their successful season from last year, after capturing the NL West Crown and playing in the NL League Championship Series. I wonder when Jordin’s going to improve on her career standing with a new record. I also wonder if she’s going to make an appearance on American Idol.

Who knew that Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato were friends? And who knew that either teenager happened to be a hockey fan? The country singing sweetheart and the young actress was spotted last Monday at the LA Kings vs Tampa Bay Lightning game in Los Angeles. I wonder if they talked about the Jonas Brothers. We all know how Taylor is still bitter over Joe and that Demi acted with them. Not to mention that Demi’s best friend Selena Gomez happens to be dating Nick. There’s no way that no gossiping occurred during their little get together. They wouldn’t be teenagers otherwise.

Britney Spears has recently released the cover as well as the track listing for her upcoming album ‘Circus’ via her official website BritneySpears.com. The album is scheduled to drop in stores on December 2nd, the same day as her birthday. There are 12 songs on the album with a 13th track being a bonus song. The list goes as follows: ‘Womanizer’, ‘Circus’, ‘Out From Under’, ‘Kill the Lights’, ‘Shattered Glass’, ‘If U Seek Amy’, ‘Unusual You’, ‘Blur’, ‘Mmm Papi’, ‘Mannequin’, ‘Lace and Leather’, ‘My Baby’ and ‘Radar’. If the rest of her album receives as much attention as her single ‘Womanizer’, we can officially say that Britney has successfully made her comeback.

Their new album may have been pushed back until December 16th but you can still listen to a new song from Fall Out Boy’s new album ‘Folie a Deux’. The song ‘What a Catch, Donnie’ is a beautiful anthem ballad about life and finding acceptance. It really reminds me of an Elton John song. I’m not sure if it’s going to be a single but I think it should. The song features a lot of other musicians including Panic at the Disco’s Brendon Urie, Cobra Starship’s Gabe Saporta, The Academy Is’ William Beckett, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy singing a couple of Fall Out Boy’s classic songs towards the end. Elvis Costello is also featured on the song.
