Lindsay Lohan was apparently given the chance to work on a new album. Whoever granted her that was stupid. Now, it is being said that Lindsay wants to do a cover of a Britney Spears song. Rumors are going around that the songs that Lindsay has got her eyes on are ‘Womanizer’ or ‘Oops!… I Did it Again’. We all know the wonders that those two songs did for Britney’s career but I really doubt that it would work as well for Lindsay. Oh well, if she does follow-through with covering either song, at least we have something to laugh out our butts off.

Check out SafetySuit’s new single, “Stay,” from their debut album Life Left to Go in stores now. The track was written by lead singer Doug Brown and produced by Greg Archilla (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul). The melodic rockers from Nashville are currently on the road with 3 Doors Down.

Hot on the heels of ultra-successful runs with Theory of a Deadman, Seether and the Puddle of Mudd Tour, Nashville favorites SafetySuit will grace the stage alongside multi-platinum artists 3 Doors Down and Hinder for what is poised to be one of the biggest rock tours of 2009. They’ll be kicking off a month long run on January 22nd in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Nearly a year after their debut single “Someone Like You” hit airwaves SafetySuit have garnered critical acclaim and widespread appeal. “Someone Like You” broke through the Hot A/C Top 30 and Alternative Top 15, while the accompanying music video is steadily climbing the VH1 charts-hitting #8 on the Top 20 Countdown week of 12/22.
