Well, well, looks who’s finally getting married. And more than that, it seems that Robbie Williams has even chosen his best man and it’s none other than his old Take That band mate, Garry Barlow. This is what a source said on the matter: ”Rob is very fond of Gary and considers him a solid rock in his life. Mark was always one of his fun time pals, but Rob really wants to thank Gary and show his respect for their special bond.” A smashing idea! Maybe at the wedding Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow might do a few of the old songs… just for fun and nostalgia’s sake.

It seems the singer isn’t getting to stressed about his upcoming wedding as he already considers himself married do Ayda Field seeing as how he refers to her as “Mrs. Williams”. This is what Robbie Williams said on a radio show recently when talking about his fiancée: “That Mrs. Williams over there, Ayda. Well as good as, eh babe?” Not that an engagement isn’t usually a sure-fire thing, but they have been known to get called off too from time to time. Robbie Williams sure feels very confident on this one. But what reason would he have to worry, anyway? His special friends are always watching.

Well, well, what a surprise. Since the date of the singer’s wedding to actress Ayda Field became public, it seems Robbie Williams has decided it would be better to postpone the celebration… and not let anyone know of it. This is what a source said about Robbie Williams’ decision: “Robbie and Ayda are desperate to marry and start a new domesticated life together. But when their first day, February 14, escaped into the public domain, Robbie hit the roof. He has played out his relationship with Ayda largely behind closed doors and wanted it to stay that way.” So this time, Robbie Williams will probably make sure the date stays secret. He might even get his special friends from across the sky to help him out in case somebody doesn’t want to cooperate.

The singer has been acting very odd lately and now we are given the reason to suspect why. It seems Robbie Williams wants to go on ahead and propose to his girlfriend, Ayda Field. Of course, Robbie Williams didn’t give a certain answer… when does he ever, but he did hint toward it when asked about the matter: “I might be. It could be on the cards… yeah.” So this is what’s been keeping him from engaging in his usual artistic duties. Maybe after Robbie Williams gets done with this, we’ll have Take That back too… or at least, one can dream.

The recently troubled pop singer is apparently about to enter the category of “pop legends” as he will be receiving an award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the BRIT awards of next year. The chairman of the BRIT Committee said the following about Robbie Williams: “Robbie is one of the outstanding artists and performers of his generation. It will be an absolute thrill to have him at the BRITs 30th anniversary show receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. We are delighted.” Well, it looks like Robbie Williams’ impending nervous breakdown has finally paid off… he’s going to be rewarded for all of his stress and troubles. Oh happy days!
