Rihanna is doing well without a boyfriend. The singer says that being a bachelorette is good because she doesn’t have to take care of anyone. Since he broke up with Matt Kemp last year, Rihanna has not had a stable relationship (at least not known by the press), but feels no need to start ‘babysitting’ again. `The relationship can be a difficult task and that’s not good. This is not what I need, but an escape, because this job is difficult anyway. A relationship is just like when you babysit’ said Rihanna to Vogue magazine. She has completed the statement indicating that sometimes she feels the need to have a loved one next to her, especially when she travels a lot. `It’s painful when you get home after a day of work and don’t have anyone to sleep next to, and in the morning you wake up alone. But it is useless to start something you know will end anyway, so I’m not in a rush, ’said Riri.

Rihanna seems to be in love with the protagonist or her latest video, “We Found Love”, the British model Dudley O’Shaughnessy. Rihanna was spotted shamelessly flirting with Dudley O’Shaughnessy, now model, former boxer, she has picked to appear in the video of the song “We Found Love” music-news.com informs. “Rihanna is not afraid to show she is attracted to Dudley. Chemistry between them was obvious,” declared a source for British newspaper The Sun. “Rihanna took advantage of every opportunity to approach him and at one point, she was sitting in his arms, in a break from filming” added the same source. Dudley O’Shaughnessy is a British model, 21 years old, a former boxer, who was noted two years ago, in the London subway. “Dudley giggled like a child when Rihanna filmed a scene in a transparent outfit. He can’t believe the luck he’s having. Rihanna’s girlfriends are teasing her and singing songs about her romance,” the source said for The Sun .

Rihanna has received tons of accolades ever since she hit the scene but apart from awards for her music, the 23-year old Barbadian R&B singer has also been getting accolades from the fashion industry. Most recently, Rihanna was named as Vogue Italia’s woman of the year. The magazine declared “The same spirit that brought her from Barbados to the top of the music charts achieving a career which she has forged and mastered completely by herself (whose last move was to become the new ambassador for Armani).” Congratulations to Rihanna! Who needs a moon man nomination when you have Vogue giving you all the praises?

But only on twitter… which is still a reasonably strange occurrence. It seems that for some unknown and perhaps unfathomable reason, Rihanna decided to follow Chris Brown on twitter. Chris Brown, being the gentleman that he of course always is returned the favor and so the two have been somewhat reconnected as human beings. Moreover, there are even rumors that Chris Brown and Rihanna have even been exchanging direct messages with each other. So it looks like things might just be getting back to normal for Chris Brown… either that, or Rihanna is setting him up for another little incident.

The singer recently spoke in an interview about her relationship with Matt Kemp which is proving to be quite the challenge because of all of the distance-related problems. This is what Rihanna said on the matter: “It’s really difficult because we are so far from each other most of the year and we both have very demanding schedules it gets difficult at times but it is what it is. I’m in love and I’m very happy but we have only been dating for a few months so no wedding for now, we are taking it easy.” And there were such hopes of that! Too bad for Rihanna… Lady GaGa seems to be going ahead with it with a high amount of determination. Maybe Matt Kemp proposed and got turned down? That would really be a dang shame.

It seems Rihanna’s new boyfriend, baseball player Matt Kemp, is not the knight in shining armor Rihanna has been waiting for, but rather another disaster just waiting to occur. Apparently his former girlfriend filled a restraining order against him a while back and she doesn’t have some very nice stories to tell: “He is violent and I am afraid. He repeatedly made me scared and gets in my face. He is threatening to take all the items I purchased and try to destroy my property. He brings his friends driving up and down the street to try and intimidate me. I am very fearful. He has other people calling me and stalking me.” Well, well, looks like Rihanna really knows how to pick’em. Guess who’ll be next to be chasing orphans around with a stick in Rihanna’s nightmares?

The rapper apparently turned to his twitter account in the early hours of Monday morning and posted a video collage of pictures with him and Rihanna in the good old days. Chris Brown’s link was followed by the following message: “IM SORRY YALL. JUST HAD TO POST IT FOR THE FELLAS: showing emotion doesn’t make u weak… BEING HONEST MAKES U STRONG.” Well, at least Chris Brown doesn’t consider having feelings is gay… even though he might be making a song about cold-heartedness soon after he observes there is no response to this little charade of his. Oh well, onwards to next pathetic moment.

Two female Los Angeles cops have been suspended over the leaked picture of a battered Rihanna after her February domestic abuse at the hands of R&B singer Chris Brown. The photo was taken while the Barbadian babe was being examined by authorities for her injuries. Both officers have been suspended after internal affairs searched their homes, offices and lockers as part of the probe. They face possible charges of identifying a victim of violence and further disciplinary action if convicted. That’s definitely an epic fail for having a job that requires you to uphold the law. What were they thinking?

Chris Brown recently released a statement where he owns up to his actions in February and apologizing for severely beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna. The video the R&B singer released doesn’t really do anything for him. After you watch his apology, it should be clear to anyone with a brain even just the size of a peanut that he’s trying to salvage what little he has left of a career. This is so lame. If he had come out with this sooner, then maybe we could all believe it and forgive him over time. But the fact that he did this so late just screams publicity stunt to me.

The Rihanna lookalike who was seen with Chris Brown at the 2009 NBA Finals is speaking out to make something clear – that she wasn’t part of any PR conspiracy. Teyana Taylor, a rapper on Pharell’s label, says she went to the game with Chris because they have been friends for a while and that he is like a bother to her. She also said that if people think that the R&B singer used her for a PR stunt, it’s the craziest this she’s ever heard. Teyana also talked about the comparison to Rihanna saying “I’ve always dressed like that. I’ve always had style … I’ve had that Mohawk now for months.”

The singer’s family wishes that Chris Brown be sent to jail for what he did to Rihanna. A relative of hers is quoted as saying: “It’s about time. He should be in jail. He deserves whatever he gets.” Also, Rihanna’s father had this to say about the incident and Chris Brown’s impending punishment: “I don’t know how to react. Chris is a very talented guy. I still think he’s a little immature for Rihanna. Justice can never be served in this situation. He can’t feel the pain she felt. I don’t believe in hitting a woman. I hope everything works out better for them. I don’t feel happy or sad. He’s in the court’s hands. Let justice prevail.” Spoken like a true patriot… even though, his discourse somewhat reminds of those of the inquisition, but perhaps that’s just a wee bit of a coincidence. It is, however clear that Rihanna’s family doesn’t have any love for Chris Brown anymore… most the pity.

The singer’s family is highly distraught because of her decision to get back together with Chris Brown. A relative of Rihanna’s said: “Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off. No one wants them back together. I’m concerned. I don’t want her to make a mistake, and I don’t want her to ever go through his again.” And all of this in opposition to Rihanna’s father who said the following: “I love my daughter, whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive.” So her father says anything goes, while the rest of the clan is worried. Well, Rihanna is a big girl, she can probably make her own decisions. It just remains to be seen how Chris Brown goes about the whole thing from now on.

Chris Brown has been getting a lot of flak lately not just from fans but from LA Boxing president Anthony Geisler who challenged Chris Brown to a ring fight through his Facebook. Anthoiny Geisler is a mixed martial arts and kickboxing expert who belongs to the world’s largest martial arts training organiation. Anthony Geisler’s Facebook title “I Want To Fight Chris Brown” is enough to show his disgust over the domestic violent incident involving Chris Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna. Geisler said the R&B siinger should slug it out with him in the ring so he can fight with a real opponent.

Anthony Geisler’s challenge to Chris Brown was the former’s way of showing disgust versus Chris Brown who was arrested and booked by the Los Angeles Police for assaulting Rihanna. A photo of Rihanna, which made its round in the Internet recently, shows the singer’s lips swollen and bloodied while her face showed contusions and bite marks. Chris Brown apologized for his actions and said he is seeking counseling and therapy. No less than 45 people have signified their intention to fight Chris Brown after Anthony Geisler is finished with him.

This is a direct reflection of the events of the last week when Rihanna and Chris Brown both gave the Grammy Awards night a miss and subsequently the same night Chris was arrested on charges of domestic violence.

Now there is some kind of confirmation coming in that Rihanna has cancelled or if it sounds better this way then she has postponed her concert in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia for the second time which comes close on the heals of her postponing her Malaysian show.

This is a direct fallout of her fight with Chris Brown and ever since that episode she has not been seen in public or made any statement clearing her name from the ordeal. But her personal tragedy means huge losses for the promoters of the show in Indonesia.

There is great recession all over and promoters would have spent massive amounts on advertisements, TV promotion and production and its all down the drain now. Who’s going to pay for such loses the second time round?

If you remember, Chris Brown is actually a spokesperson for Wrigley’s Doublemint gum. After news broke out of his alleged assault on Rihanna, the company has all but completely dropped the 19-year old R&B crooner. They did not say if they will drop him completely but expressed a desire to wait and see how things turn out in the case. Their statement reads “Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”
