Actress and author Jenny McCarthy is revelling in the single life.

“I’m enjoying it tremendously,” the 37-year-old said.

Stepping out in a super-skimpy ensemble at a Las Vegas event she declared, “Look at me in this outfit. Would I not be hitting this? Come on,” Us magazine reports.

McCarthy, who split from actor Jim Carrey earlier this year after five years together, recently made the move to Las Vegas with her eight-year-old son Evan.

On life in Sin City she says, “I really love it.”

“I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out to Las Vegas, believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.”

Reality stars Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge have said they would have tried to make it in the acting world if they had not starred in The Hills.

The main women cast members in the reality show had a variety of ambitions if they hadn’t have featured in the programme.

When asked what she thought she would be doing instead, Kristin, 23, told : “probably still be acting.

“Before I came on The Hills I was really trying to stay on the tabloid world and really just focus on acting.”

She added: “That is how I was making my money so that is probably what I would still be doing.”

Patridge also wanted to become an actress.

In answer to the same question, the 25-year-old said: “I would still be going to auditions and casting and trying to make it in the movie world.”

Two of the other cast members Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth were also very ambitious if The Hills hadn’t existed.

Pratt wanted to design handbags.

Stephanie, 24, said: “A handbag line, hopefully it would have came out a lot sooner than fall 2010 since I have been trying to do it since seventh grade, I got sidetracked.”

While Lo, 23, was going to take quite a different route. She answered: “I ask myself that question quite often, I think I would be in medical school.”

Actor Alfred Molina has said his daughter has been keen to go on set of his new movie Abduction as it stars Taylor Lautner.

Molina, 57, will co-star with Lautner, 18, who plays Jacob in the hit Twilight Saga, in the new thriller.

Speaking to E! online, he said: “My daughter’s been very keen to it. All the [women] who know about it have expressed a certain interest.”

However, Molina, who played Dr Ock in Spider-Man 2, said he hasn’t been watching the Twilight movies.

He said: “I haven’t made my way to them, but I must.”

Reality TV couple Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have renewed their marriage voiws.

The couple have been recently hit by rumours there is trouble in their marriage.

But they have denied the gossip and invited close friends and family to an intimate gathering in the Los Angeles area on Saturday.

The date marked four years since they tied the knot on a private island in Fiji in a ceremony attended only by the barefoot bride and groom.

The pair, who have been seen on their show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood having blow-out fights, have downplayed any talk of a split. Appearing on the the Ellen DeGeneres Show last month Spelling insisted: “There is no divorce in our future, at all.”

McDermott and Spelling met in the summer of 2005 while in Canada filming the TV movie Mind Over Murder.

They are parents to Liam, three, and Stella, who turns two this summer.

Only days after making their first public appearance since reuniting, there is speculation Jude Law and Sienna Miller may soon walk down the aisle.

Miller has been seen wearing the ring from her previous engagement to Law on her right hand.

“All the signs are pointing to marriage – they would not be back together if they did not think they were serious about each other,” the Daily Mail quotes a source close to the couple as saying.

“The best thing for Jude is that Sienna loves his children and they love her. Now that they are living together again, expect an engagement soon.”

The couple have recently set up a home together in London’s Little Venice, close to Law’s former wife Sadie Frost and their three kids.

The G.I. Joe actress is reportedly overseeing an expensive renovation to the property, and has recruited her former stepmother, interior designer Kelly Hoppen, to help with the project.

“Kelly is overseeing everything on the London house – the lighting alone is a fortune,” the same source said. “The design is all based on a palette of browns, greys and creams. Kelly calls it luxury minimalism.”

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have denied they are divorcing.

The Hollywood couple released a joint statement after rumours surfaced that they were in secret negotiations over a split.

“Please let us clarify this – they are not seeking a divorce nor has one been contemplated,” Charlie Sheen’s publicist said. “There has been no financial agreements between the parties of any sort. Stories to the contrary are false.”

Rumours of an impending divorce surfaced after Mueller moved out of the family home last week after discovering Charlie had allegedly been cheating on her again and even had women back to their house while she wasn’t there.

Sheen has been seen with bikini model Angelina Tracy, although both Tracy and Sheen have vehemently denied being involved with each other.

According to the reports, the plan was to keep the settlement and divorce announcement secret until Charlie is done with his legal ordeal in Colorado.

He was arrested on domestic violence charges in Aspen over Christmas after Mueller called 911.

Peaches Geldof has reportedly turned to religion after recent sex-and-drugs claims surfaced about her.

The 21-year-old was left shocked when a man posted topless pictures of her on the internet and claimed they had a heroin-fuelled one-night-stand.

Since the pictures surfaced, she lost a lucrative lingerie deal with underwear brand Ultimo.

She has reportedly become involved in the Jewish faith and has taken part in The Passover Seder, which is a feast that happens each year.

Geldof reportedly attended the dinner with her new actor boyfriend, Eli Roth, 37.

A pal said to UK newspaper Daily Star: “She has a spiritual side and loves exploring the possibilities of all beliefs. She was excited to celebrate her first seder with Eli and his father.”

Geldof has previously expressed an interest in the religion and had said: “I’ve been one for a while. I was confused and needed a spiritual path. I felt I was lacking something when I didn’t have a faith.

“In the end, all it’s about is making yourself a better person.”

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick are ‘tired of the lies’ about their relationship.

The 30-year-old reality star has a baby son Mason with Disick, 26, and their relationship is constantly under scrutiny.

She said to Us Weekly: “We are tired of the lies. Mason brought me and Scott closer together. Our relationship is stronger.”

The family were recently seen taking their son Mason, three months, out for a trip to the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Florida, where Kourtney filmed scenes for her new reality show.

They were recently at the centre of a claim that said Kourtney had been left by Scott and had moved in to the guest room. But Kourtney dismissed these reports and said: “We don’t even have a guest room!”

David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman are definitely more than just Friends.

Schwimmer, 43, and Buckman, 24, have just got engaged, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The former Friends star, who played Dr Ross Gellar on the hit comedy series, met Buckman in 2007 while directing Run Fatboy Run in London.

It will be the first marriage for both.

The 19-year-old actress is dating her Twilight co-star and she said she is finally starting to get used to the constant press attention centred on them.

Asked what she finds most attractive about Pattinson, she said: “I think he’s really handsome. And I’ve become more comfortable with the whole tabloid rumour stuff.

“It’s like a soap opera, so it doesn’t bother me and I don’t take it personally. And because I’ve had so much experience now, it’s easier.”

She added to UK magazine Look: “As soon as I stopped trying to control everything that came out of my mouth, and every picture that came out, I felt happier.”

Kim Kardashian has hinted that she might be releasing a new fragrance with her boyfriend Reggie Bush.

The 29-year-old recently debuted her first perfume at Sephora in Century City Mall in LA.

Now, Kardashian hinted that NFL star boyfriend Bush may be joining her in bringing out a fragrance.

She said to E! Online: “Reggie and I have talked about doing a fragrance together – something that is kind of unisex.”

However, Kardashian admitted that her boyfriend prefers her natural look, she said: “He just likes my natural sexiness. He likes my natural scent.”

It seems Lindsay Lohan has decided that she has to sell all her junk if she ever hopes to move forward emotionally. Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has reportedly said that the next time he has an argument with his 20-year-old Russian girlfriend, Ekaterina Ivanova, they will do their rowing in the “middle of a field” to prevent rumours starting that they are splitting up.

Wood, 62, and Ivanova, recently had a well-publicised falling-out at their home in London’s Belsize Park, after which the media reported that they were to split.

The hard-living rocker said: “There were a few harsh words that night between me and Kat [Ekaterina], but the point about Belsize [Park] is it’s like an echo chamber – you raise your voice and the neighbours hear everything.”

He added: “Kat, she’s coming with me to the country, and if we have another argument, well, this time we’ll have it in the middle of a field!”

Actress Patricia Arquette says she is more in love with husband Thomas Jane than ever.

Arquette, 41, who recently filed for divorce from Thomas, 40, is now back with the actor and told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “We’re more in love than ever. It’s great.”

Ellen asked The Medium star Patricia: “You were divorcing and didn’t divorce. And now you’re back together?”

Arquette replied: “Yeah.

“We’ve been together for eight years and relationships are tough but we’re really happy.”

The pair married back in 2006 in Venice, Italy and Arquette filed for divorce from Jane recently on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.

But now the pair are trying to make their marriage work.

In reply to how Thomas is doing, Patricia added: “He is great!”

Zooey Deschanel loved learning to sing like Janis Joplin, she has revealed.

The actress was due to play the star in a movie but the project has fallen through.

She said: “It seems kind of dead now. It’s such a fantastic story and a dream role, but it doesn’t seem to be want to made, and you can’t force these things. I don’t think any of the work I did was lost. I enjoyed doing the research, so I don’t regret any of it.”

Actress and musician Deschanel has sung in several of her films and released her debut album last year.

Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker was more than just a friend to DJ AM, who passed away last Friday due to a suspected drug overdose. The two also happened to be musical collaborators and both survived a deadly plane crash that killed four people last year. On Saturday, Travis opened up for the first time about the loss of his friend. He said “Don’t know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i’ll never forget all the good times we had. I’ll never forget everything we’ve been through and every time i play the drums I’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being. Rest In Peace my brother, this really fucks me up.”

Eric Dane’s lawyer has slammed reports that a tape of the Grey’s Anatomy star with his wife and a third woman is a “sex tape”.

Marty Singer, lawyer for Dane in a statement said: “This is simply a private, consensual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public.”

The tape was said to have taken the internet by storm. Dane’s wife Rebecca Gayheart appears in it, and compromising positions are said to be included. The third woman in the tape was said to be Kari Ann Peniche, a former Miss Teen USA who was stripped of her title after posing for Playboy.

Singer continued: “Although the participants are nude, the tape is not a “sex tape”. It is a private tape made for only my clients’ personal use, and nobody has the right to exploit it. If anyone exploits the tape, they will be violating my clients’ rights and will be exposed to significant liability.”
