Ne-Yo Gets Engaged
Ne-Yo is set to tie the knot with girlfriend Monyetta Shaw, and the two are also expecting their second child. A rep for the 31-year old R&B singer confirmed the news to Us Weekly, while a source told the magazine that the family’s newest addition is due next month. Ne-Yo and Monyetta, who owns a boutique in Atlanta, Georgia, welcomed their first daughter Madilyn Grace back in November of last year. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple and the happy parents! I guess it would be safe to assume that the wedding will go down after their second child is born.

But this time he apparently won’t get off that easy because the lucky girl is his newborn daughter. Ne-Yo’s girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, gave birth to their first child a few days ago. Upon the occurrence of this happy event, the rapper had the following to say: “I’ve been in love before but this feels like nothing I’ve ever felt. Like I’m in love for the first time.” However Ne-Yo is a bit worried about the responsibilities that come with having children since, after all, this is his first real child. Under these circumstances he might want to start with a more serious commitment to his girlfriend.
