Cheryl Cole, grateful to the doctors who saved her life
Cheryl Cole publicly thanked the team of doctors and assistants who helped her get well and recuperate this fast. “I want to say that I’m grateful for everything you’ve done for me. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.” declared Cheryl. It seems that Cheryl wants to make a donation to the hospital she’s been hospitalized and treated of malaria. Cheryl Cole contracted malaria after she visited Tanzania together with one of her dancers. The disease was not easy on her, Cheryl suffered very much.
No commentsWill.i.am’s mother speaks of his love for Cheryl Cole
Yet another case of motherly involvement presents itself before us. Will.i.am’s mother recently felt the need to speak up about how the Black Eyed Peas singer loves Cheryl Cole. This is what she said on the matter: ”Will is very fond of Cheryl. He says she’s an amazing woman. His feelings for her have grown from friendship into love and they’re good for each other. I can’t wait to meet Cheryl. He’s told me lots of good things about her. Will has promised to take us out for a meal together next time the two of them are in Los Angeles. I give them my blessing. I like her and she seems like a nice girl.” Well, at least will.i.am managed to get his mother’s approval easily enough… all that’s left now is Cheryl Cole’s approval of which there has been no word yet.

Ronnie Wood plans to help ex Katia Ivanova launch music career

Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood is reportedly planning to help ex-girlfriend Katia Ivanova launch a music career.
The 62-year-old guitarist split with Ivanova, 21, at the end of last year after dating for 18 months. He is now seeing Brazilian Ana Araujo, 30.
A source said: “Katia is an ambitious girl, and she and Ronnie have discussed her going into music.
“Ronnie knows the business better than most, and there’s talk of him writing some material for her.”
The source added: “Ronnie’s at his happiest making music. If that also involves Katia, all the better for him.”
No commentsRussell Crowe’s wife Danielle Spencer knows music may be judged ‘more harshly’
Russell Crowe’s wife Danielle Spencer said she knows her music career may be judged ‘more harshly’ because of her famous husband.
The 40-year-old Australian star is returning to music after having a break to have her children with Crowe – Charles, six, and Tennyson, three.
She said: “I went from being this musician who had just put out an album to suddenly being married to this person that everyone was interested in for weird reasons which had nothing to do with me.
“And then I got pregnant straight away, so it was an odd period of adjustment. There were definitely a couple of years where I needed to get my balance.”
She added: “But I don’t feel defensive about what I’m doing. I like to keep a low profile, and Russell’s the same. We don’t court the limelight. The attention we get… that’s out of my control.
“Some people may judge me more harshly but I hope that the majority will just listen to the music and take it for what it is.”

U2 Concert to Stream Live on YouTube
U2 have confirmed via video blog that their sold-out concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in California, Sunday 25th October 2009 will be streamed free, in full and live on YouTube. It’s the first time a show of this size will be streamed live.
The Rose Bowl show is the penultimate U2 show this year – with more to come in 2010 – and already is set to host the venue’s biggest ever audience of over 96, 000 fans. The 360Ëš Tour, which has been critically acclaimed and “re-invents rock’n’roll”*, will now boast unique access for fans worldwide – as fans in territories yet to be visited by the tour, or not at all, will be able to enjoy the whole show online. Managed in partnership with Live Nation, this sell-out tour has broken attendance records in most venues it has visited – its success due in part to increased capacity coupled with a lower ticket price and great sight lines afforded by the stunning in-the-round stage set. Visit U2.com or youtube.com/u2official for details of how to join in this ground-breaking on-line event.
U2 manager Paul McGuinness said – “The band has wanted to do something like this for a long time. As we’re filming the LA show, it’s the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium. Fans often travel long distances to come to see U2 – this time U2 can go to them, globally.”
YouTube will be streaming live across five continents. The show will be available in the usual You Tube way, as video-on-demand, following two full replays – after the live stream – on both U2.com and You Tube.
“YouTube is thrilled to be able to provide our global audience with a live streaming performance from one of the world’s greatest bands” – Chris Maxcy, Director of YouTube Partner Development. “We are always looking for new ways to connect fans around the world with their favourite artists, and this is the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
No commentsNirvana Live At Reading To Premeir On Fuse
On November 2 at 11 p.m. ET, Fuse, the national music network, will televise the worldwide premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, the band’s legendary, never-before-released 1992 Reading concert. The show, marking the first time that Nirvana fans will experience the epochal August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at UK’s Reading Festival, will debut as an hour long broadcast the night before the limited edition 90 minute CD+DVD Deluxe Edition is by Geffen/UMe.
Featuring 25 songs including “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “All Apologies” and “Come As You Are,” Nirvana’s performance at Reading ranked No. 1 in Kerrang Magazine’s “100 Gigs That Shook The World” chart and was voted as “Nirvana’s No. 1 Greatest Moment” by fans in a recent NME poll.
“Fuse is excited to provide Nirvana fans with the first opportunity to witness this historic music event since the concert 17 years ago,” said David Weier, vice president, programming, Fuse. “Not only are we airing a highly anticipated, never-before-seen concert in more than 65 million homes, we are providing Nirvana’s loyal fan base with companion programming for a comprehensive and unique viewing experience.”
Leading up to the premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, Fuse will air “Loaded: Nirvana,” a half-hour of Nirvana’s greatest music videos at 10 p.m. ET, followed by “Videos That Rocked the World: Smells Like Teen Spirit,” a celebration of the legendary music video which was a breakthrough for music, entertainment, culture and society.
While the show’s centerpiece was a performance of nearly the entire Nevermind tracklist, also noteworthy were early performances of three as yet unrecorded songs which wouldn’t be released until 2 years later on In Utero: “All Apologies,” “Dumb,” and in its first ever public performance, “Tourettes.” The career-spanning setlist also reached back to the band’s 1989 Sub Pop debut album, Bleach, for “Blew,” “About A Girl,” “School,” “Negative Creep” and first single “Love Buzz,” and even further back to the mid-’80s for “Spank Thru.” Other songs from the Reading set would appear in studio form on the Incesticide compilation later in the year: “Aneurysm,” “Been A Son” and “Sliver.” Additionally, the band played a pair of beloved covers by two bands that helped shape the formative Nirvana sound– “The Money Will Roll Right In” by Fang and “D-7″ by The Wipers.
“SCHOOL” LIVE VIDEO:
Andy Williams to be at the next Glastonbury
The singer has recently been booked by the festival’s organizer, Michael Eavis, to attend next year’s edition of the festival. Michael Eavis said the following about getting Andy Williams to play at Glastonbury: “The expectations are really high. We’re trying to get the best headliners in the world.” Apparently, tickets for the show sold in less than 24 hours after being put on sale. Either Andy Williams still has a great deal of old fans, or most people just don’t really care about the music and go there only for the name’s sake. After all, who could possibly want to go to a festival with no certain line-up?
No commentsAFI ROCK THE ROXY FOR CRASH LOVE RELEASE PARTY
To celebrate the release of their eighth studio album, Crash Love, AFI took to the stage at the world famous Roxy on Sunset thanks to local Los Angeles radio station KROQ. In front of an intimate crowd of hundred’s, rather than thousands that typically fill AFI shows, the band played a thrashing 14 song set filled with classics of the past, and a handful of Crash Love gems that are soon to be just that. Highlights of the night were too many to capsulize, but front man Davey Havok’s front flip into the waiting crowd on “Kill Caustic” and the stunning rendition of The Cure’s classic “Just Like Heaven” marked just a few of the moments that lit up the night. Reminiscent of 1995, AFI welcomed Nick 13 (Tiger Army) and Geoff Kresge (ex AFI/Tiger Army) to the stage to sing “Nyquil,” a track from the band’s first album, Answer That and Stay Fashionable. Electric performances of AFI’s radio singles “Miss Murder” and Crash Love’s “Medicate” put a cap on a night that will not soon be forgotten by the fan’s lucky enough to be present that night.
Fans of AFI who could not be at the show now have the chance to watch a handful of videos from the epic evening on KROQ.com. To find out when and where you can see AFI live, visit AFireInside.net/events. Crash Love is in-stores now and available everywhere good music is sold.
