David Archuleta has just released a new video for his song ‘A Little Too Not Over You’. The song is the second single off of the American Idol season 7 runner up’s self-titled debut album. The music video was shot by Scott Speer who also helmed Ashley Tisdale’s video for ‘He Said She Said’ and Jordin Sparks’ ‘Tattoo’. Archie’s in pretty good company don’t you think? I wonder if David Cook is going to release a new video soon. He can’t keep little David being the first to do everything now right? Cookie needs to prove why he’s the champ. We can’t have another case of Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard.

Britney Spears’ music video for her title track ‘Circus’ has officially been released. The video was directed by Francis Lawrence. He’s the same guy who directed the recovered signer’s video for ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ and also directed the movie ‘I Am Legend’. The new video was supposed to have premiered Friday last week but due to overwhelming fan demand and an unexpected YouTube leak earlier last week, the pop princess was forced to release it last Thursday. It works out in the end because it just adds more hype to her comeback. The video looks great too! It’s another hot one for Britney.

Meet Hana Pestle — an eighteen year old singer/songwriter that has come a long way from her hometown of Billings, Montana. Hana moved to Los Angeles about a year ago to work on her debut album with Ben Moody, co-founder of Evanescence, who has also produced records for Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne. On top of the ten month recording process, Hana spent most of this year touring with an opening slot on the Blues Traveler, Live, Collective Soul Tour. She has since toured with the likes of Joshua Radin and Jon McLaughlin and is currently on the road with pop/pock band Ingram Hill.

The versatility of Hana’s vocals stands out on her current E.P with the intense single “These Two Hands” and a cover of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Hallelujah.” Hana will be able to tell more of her story on her full-length release due out next year.

Hana may be far away from home in a city she calls “much different yet wonderful,” but she explains, “I’m home wherever my guitar is.” Citing influences that range from Radiohead and Sarah McLachlan to Incubus, Feist and Jack Johnson, it is clear that Hana isn’t bound to any one genre.

The six part series is explained best by the band themselves, “Our Hero, known as The Bastard, is a living embodiment of metal music. Country singing sensation Taylor Swift helps MySpace CEO and Co-founder Chris DeWolfe Kick off the launch of MySpace Music at NBC’s Today Show. The pair discussed the joint venture between music labels and MySpace Music which hosts new features for both users and artists including audio and video content, mp3-purchase possibilities and user and artist playlists as well as provide monetization opportunities for its active music community. In other Taylor Swift news, the 18-year old country sweetheart has also been announced as one of the performers for this year’s CMA Awards which will air live from Nashville, Tennessee on November 12.
