Mel B has revealed that she unleashed her inner Scary Spice while judging the X Factor Australia. The talent show is still at the audition stage and the 35-year-old former Spice Girl said that she is enjoying weeding out the good from the bad. Writing on her website, she said, "What can I say, it’s been an interesting two days. Long days, may I say? We have definitely captured some amazing talent in Brisbane. And also some very strange, funny and quirky talent- if you can call it that! "Who’d a thought telling people they were terrible could be so much fun?!? Can’t wait for you guys to see what fun and chaos we created at the X Factor auditions. "It sucks cuz you have to see it to believe it! But one thing I can say is you will NOT be disappointed. "Scary Spice came out in full effect! Brisbane Entertainment Centre was packed full of people booing, cheering and singing along. "It’s amazing how long you can hold your pee, as a pregnant woman, when you got work to do. Haha."

Mel B has been seen enjoying a family day out with her husband just days after being pictured looking cosy with another man. The 34-year-old former Spice Girls singer was recently spotted flirting with Dead Man Running star Tamer Hassan in London, despite being married to film producer Stephen Belafonte. However, the couple reportedly put on a united front when they went to pick up Mel’s daughter Angel, whose father is US comedian Eddie Murphy, from a children’s party in West Hollywood. The Peep Show star was all smiles as they both held hands with the little girl, who was dressed in a pink tutu and carrying a magic wand. Mel’s spokesperson denied that there was anything going on between the reality star and Hassan, and said that the photos of them together simply showed two old friends having a business meeting and enjoying a good catch-up.

Former Spice Girl Mel B has revealed things are now ‘really cool’ between her and Eddie Murphy.

The couple, who have a daughter called Angel together, had been estranged for several years.

The Beverly Hills Cop actor initially denied he was the father of the singer’s baby, which was later proven by a paternity test.

“Water under the bridge,” Mel told E! Online over the ugliness that once went down between the two of them.

The pair are now reconciled for the sake of their daughter and Murphy recently organised a night of fun for the whole family at the red carpet premiere of his movie Shrek Ever After.

Former Spice Girl Mel B has told how Nelson Mandela tried to set her up with his cousin.

Mel, 34, and her bandmates met the 91-year-old former South African president at his Pretoria home in 1997.

Now a married mother-of-two, Mel B told The Sun: “He tried to get me to date one of his cousins.

“I wasn’t interested, but he was trying to play matchmaker.”

Mel B “definitely” wants children with husband Stephen Belafonte.

The former Spice Girl – who has a nine-year-old daughter Phoenix with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar and a 15-month-old daughter Angel with actor Eddie Murphy – is keen to expand her family even further with movie producer Stephen.

She said: “Yeah, we definitely want children. Not just yet – I think in a few years, definitely.”

Mel also revealed she thinks the secret to a happy marriage is being good friends with your spouse. She added: “I think marriage agrees with me – I’m happy all the time! We’re the best of friends, which I think is one of the most important things in a successful marriage.”

However, Mel said Stephen’s surprise present for their one-year wedding anniversary backfired when she injured herself.

She said: “You know what, my husband organized a helicopter and this beautiful restaurant, but I actually got a trapped nerve in my hip, so I ended up staying and relaxing at the hotel! But we celebrated the next day with the helicopter and the lovely restaurant.”
