And in a further testimony to their growing status as a famous couple the US fund for UNICEF has made an official announcement that Joel & Nicole shall be the host for UNICEF’s 2008 Beverly Hills Snowflake Lighting ceremony this coming Saturday (November 22).

Caryl Stern, President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF says “We are honored to have Joel and Nicole participate in the Beverly Hills lighting ceremony,” he further adds “With their tremendous commitment to UNICEF’s child survival mission, Joel and Nicole are the perfect people for UNICEF to share this meaningful tradition with.”

John Mayer has hinted that he might be trying endlessly to find the best way he can walk upto to girlfriend Jennifer Aniston and propose his love for her.

He said: “I think I’d be pretty good at proposing. I’d figure that out. I’d get creative.” The ‘Gravity’ singer who thinks of himself being a pretty decent writer said “It’s also difficult to write songs about love lost and love found. I believe in my ability as a writer. I think it might take a little longer.”

Well John my advise to you is pretty plain and straight forward, man if you wanna propose great, if you wanna do it in a creative manner I am all for you, if you wanna sing something to her even better but man what ever you wanna do, do it.

Taylor Swift was on an Ellen DeGeneres Show episode that aired on November 11 where she confirmed that Joe Jonas broke up with her over the phone in a record 27-second call back in October. Ellen responded to the revelation by saying “He broke up with you on the phone? That’s not right.” Taylor then responds with “It’s all right - I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18.”

DJ AM and Mandy Moore were spotted attending the Friendly House’s 19th Annual Awards Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel recently. It’s fairly known that the two briefly dated after the celebrity DJ broke up with Nicole Ritchie. Mandy was also one of the first people to visit AM after his plane crash. Apparently, he had an all-access pass to one of her concerts. Travis, an ER doctor, is also the host of the CBS daytime talk show ‘The Doctors’ which is a spin-off of Dr. Phil which is a spin-off of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Teen country music sensation Taylor Swift has released a new music video for her song ‘Love Story’ which is the first official single off of her sophomore studio effort ‘Fearless’. Here’s the chorus to the song so you can sing along if you hear it or see the video: “Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone/I’ll be waiting, all there’s left to do is run/You be the prince and I’ll be the princess/It’s a love story, baby, just say yes.” By the way, the guy in the video is ‘Nashville Star’ contestant Justin Gaston. Spice Girl Melanie Brown and music producer Stephen Belafonte are reportedly planning on renewing their wedding vows in a huge ceremony in Egypt later this year. The film’s producers originally planned and hoped for lyricist Tim Rice (The Lion King) team up who teamed with Sir Elton to write original tunes for Gnomeo. Instead, it looks like the film will mainly feature a number of Elton John’s classic songs. Rumors claim that some the songs to be used are “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “Sad Songs” or “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues”. They also are expecting John to write a couple of new tracks for the film slated for release in 2010.

Pink’s estranged husband Carey Hart is still hoping to rekindle his relationship with the ‘Stupid Girls’ singer.

The motocross racer – who split from Pink, his wife of two years, in February – hasn’t ruled out the possibility of reuniting with the 28-year-old star.

When asked if his marriage to Pink could be saved, Carey said: “I would like to have wishful thinking and say, ‘Yes.’ Only time will tell. Our plan is to maintain a friendship, and who knows what will happen when we get older. For the next three years, we’re both extremely busy people so it’s tough.”

Carey, 33, also revealed he is desperate to have a family, and still lives in hope that Pink could be the mother of his children.

It looks like Mariah Carey is looking to extend the honeymoon stage of her marriage to Nick Cannon as the Daily Mirror reports that the curvaceous diva just paid $5 million for a luxurious new Caribbean home. The couple’s new West Indies love nest reportedly has five bedrooms, Jacuzzi and indoor swimming pool. It looks like Nick is turning out to be one really spoiled husband. Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are planning a ‘trial marriage’.

The couple – who have been dating for three months – are said to be keen to test the strength of their relationship, and think John moving into Jennifer’s house is the perfect first step.

A source said: “John wants to settle down as much as Jennifer does. What’s more, he’s been telling her that he thinks she is the one and she believes him.”

John’s move into Jennifer’s Beverly Hills mansion is set to happen after his tour ends in September.

The couple are also reportedly planning a family.

The source added: “John is the first guy since Brad who has talked seriously about having children and Jennifer is very excited about it.”

Jennifer was previously married to Brad Pitt for five years. They separated in 2005 amid allegations he was cheating on her with actress Angelina Jolie, with who he now has six children.
