The American Music Awards were recently on and saw former lovers Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift keep it cool when asked if they were weirded out by each others presence at the ceremony. Joe said that it was all good while Taylor just gushed about being there saying “I’m so excited to be here, I’m so excited the album went number one… to be here and to be nominated and performing. This is going to be a fun night.” There’s nothing for the country crooning sweetheart to worry about anyway. The best revenge was served when she outsold her ex’s album.

Nick Jonas’ girlfriend Selena Gomez recently sat down with OK! Magazine where she talked about the issue of ex boyfriends. She said “I get so mad about ex-boyfriends, but if a boy hurts me, I don’t write a song about it. They don’t deserve it!” Is that a dig at Joe Jonas’ ex girlfriend Taylor Swift? It sure looks like it to me. And here I thought they were pretty close considering they were always spotted together when Joe and Taylor were still on. Maybe Taylor has burned more bridges instead of just the ones leading to the Jonas Brothers.

Amidst allegations that he cheated on her and dumped her via a very short phone call, Joe Jonas is speaking out for the first time about his relationship with Taylor Swift. On the Jonas Brothers’ official blog, Joe posted his side of the story. The brothers first said that they don’t usually talk about their personal lives but that they will make the exception since they thought that they needed to address it because it affects the fans. It then switches to a personal message from Joe saying “I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.” Joe also proves to be the gentleman without even mentioning Taylor’s name.

Taylor Swift was on an Ellen DeGeneres Show episode that aired on November 11 where she confirmed that Joe Jonas broke up with her over the phone in a record 27-second call back in October. Ellen responded to the revelation by saying “He broke up with you on the phone? That’s not right.” Taylor then responds with “It’s all right - I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18.”

Nick Jonas took a break from filming on the set of his new Disney Channel series ‘JONAS’ to tape a PSA on Juvenile Diabetes that aired on this past Sunday. The PSA aired on Disney Channel following an episode of ‘Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream’ showing how the 16-year old pop star manages his own battle with the disease. EW.com also showed an exclusive look at the new series of which will premiere on Disney Channel in May 2009. Eldest brother Kevin says of the episode they recently filmed “We’re trying to cook Mom a special birthday cake. We destroyed our family’s home videos, so we have to find ways to make up those memories.”

Country’s teen singing sensation Taylor Swift shows just how much of a fighter she is in the new issue of Billboard. She’s talking about her music though and not her break up from Joe Jonas. She said “Being on a little record label, you have to fight harder than being on a bigger record label to be on award shows, to be a performer and a presenter and to get big tours and support. My record label [Big Machine Records] had 12 employees when I put out my album and my single and I just kept looking around and thinking, ‘Some day we are going to grow and this is going to change and we are going to have a fighting chance.’”

Ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards, their supporters discuss the question with vigor, as to which band is actually the more incredible. There is talk of Tokio Hotel, the most successful German rock band, and the Jonas Brothers, currently America’s greatest pop band. At this year’s VMA awards on September 7th in L.A., they came together in the category “Best Pop Video”, further stoking up the discussion from supporters of both bands. And the question on everybody’s lips – does this translate to competition between the two bands themselves? The truth is there is nothing of the sort, quite the opposite. Tokio Hotel (who won the MTV VMA category “Best New Artist”) and Jonas Brothers have one thing in common: while Tokio Hotel are currently superstars in Europe who are successfully capturing great attention and fans across the United States, the superstars from America, Jonas Brothers, have planned to conquer Europe. No wonder the guys had a lot of things to tell each other, when they met shortly before the MTV VMAs in New York. T

The Jonas Brothers were recently presented with The Gold Disc award for their sales of their self-titled second studio album in Madrid, Spain. Congratulations to the brothers on getting to continue their world domination. Apart from getting the award, Kevin, Joe and Nick also had a Masterclass Event at Orange Cafe, an in-store event at El Corte Ingles (Plaze Felippe II Square, an appearance on the El Hormiguero TV show and an interview on Internight, a popular radio program on Los 40 Principales. Their schedule was packed in Madrid! I hope they had some time to see some sights or even to just relax.

Disney star Selena Gomez recently sat down with TV guide and opened up about a whole lot of stuff that some of us may want to know. Selena talked about her alleged feud with Miley Cyrus saying “(the rivalry)…was completely blown out of proportion. That YouTube video was ages ago, and it’s so irrelevant and not important to everything else going on. There’s no feud.” She also talked about the rumors that she is dating Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers saying “I’ve gotten really close to the entire Jonas family this past year. Nick and I are getting to know each other, but we’re not confirming anything.” Selena also mentioned that she has a huge crush on Shia LeBeouf.

When you get a rare picture like this, you just have to fall in love with it. Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers almost always has his naturally curly hair flat ironed straight. But a fan ran into Joe at Mel’s Diner in Los Angeles recently when the pop star wasn’t sporting his usually ironed straight hair. I guess it was Joe’s off time. He must not have a hairstylist on call 24/7 or he was just too lazy to iron his hair before he went out. Embrace the curl Joe! You look good either way anyway. You’re hot no matter what!

The Jonas Brothers are one of three artists featured in an outdoor billboard campaign for MySpace Music in New York City’s Times Square. MIA and Lil Wayne are the other two featured artists. It’s all publicity for MySpace’s taste of the pie for digital media with their new venture. Considering that they’ve done a lot for artists like Colbie Caillat for one, I think they’d be greatly received. iTunes is about to get some competition. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Monopoly is an evil thing especially in a capitalist world. Plus, you can cheat with MySpace and be able to download stuff for free sometimes. Shh! Don’t tell anyone.

Disney princess Demi Lovato told MTV News about showmanship, gossip sites and friends all in one story recently. She said “I fell at a show this one time. Actually, I’ve fallen several times — like, four times already. But this one time I fell, it was the only one that made Perez Hilton and YouTube. I didn’t think anything of it when it happened. I just laughed it off onstage. But the next day, I see that it hit the Internet, and I was like, ‘Nooooooo.’ It totally stung, because I wasn’t expecting it. But I didn’t get hurt, and Joe [Jonas] helped me out a lot with that. He made a ton of jokes about it.” Aww, how sweet.

After talking about her ex-boytoy Nick Jonas (who’s currently dating Selena Gomez) she’s was seen bringing this hot underwear model “friend” Justin Gaston along with her family to church.
The 20 year-old fame whoring stud recently appeared as a contestant on this past season of the little-watched Nashville Star show hosted by her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

The pair was seen going to church on Sunday, both wearing jeans and tank tops (in church?), the two decided to go on a second date on Monday!
They were seen at Century City mall in Los Angeles. According to eyewitnesses, the “happy couple” got out at the valet on Santa Monica Boulevard and proceeded to walk through the mall. They were “holding hands the whole time.”(awwwwww)

The Jonas Brothers publicly commented for the first time on Russell Brand making fun of their virginity during this past weekend’s VMAs.
The brothers are very much cool with his mockery. Nick said, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman.” Nick also thought that Brand was hilarious when he guested on Conan O’Brien.

Nick also said, “I don’t know if there is really a positive (to come out of Russell’s comments) - he was kind of running out of material after a little while.”

And when asked if they had a message to give Brand, big bro Joe said, “I’d give him a hug. I think he needs a hug!”

Hugs make the world a happier place! Haha, I’d love to see Joe give Russell a hug.

The brothers also shared the thrill of meeting popstar Britney Spears.

Joe said, “We met a lot of people there- we met Britney Spears and she was incredible!”
