Former Friends star David Schwimmer said the ‘greatest gift’ that Britain’s given him is his wife Zoe. The 44-year-old actor is married to British photographer Zoe Buckman and they have a daughter Cleo, seven weeks. Asked what he likes about Britain, he said to UK newspaper Metro: “Well, I guess the greatest gift that Britain gave me was my wife. I never thought growing up: ‘Hmmm, I’m going to marry a British girl.’ “I was completely surprised by realising: ‘Oh my God, this is the person I’m going to marry.’” The star is currently promoting his new movie Trust, which he directed, and it is an emotional movie about a father’s battle to save his daughter after she is groomed by a pedophile on the Internet. Asked if becoming a dad changed his perspective, he added: “A few weeks ago, I was holding my daughter for the first time and had that overwhelming feeling of: ‘Oh my God, I’m completely responsible for her.’ “I don’t know if it’s a conscious or unconscious decision but I haven’t watched the film since I knew we were pregnant.”

While recently receiving the honor of being elected the first Non Executive Officer of Rock n’Roll of The Conservative Association of England’s Prestigious Oxford University Courtney Love admitted that she is looking for a new husband. This is what the president of the association related on the matter: "She said she wanted to launch a new life as a country squire. Her exact words to me were, I want to find a new husband. She thought we were the best place to find one." Courtney Love is currently involved with British art dealer Henry Allsopp so she’s well on her way to completing her goal. However, no one can really replace Kurt Cobain and in the depths of her soul, Courtney Love will probably always remain his wife… but it doesn’t hurt to have a little fun in the meantime.

Add this one to the Christmas miracles list. It seems that the disturbed singer has actually found herself someone who can be her significant other… for an extended period of time. The poor guy’s name is Henry Allsopp and he’s and art dealer in London. Apparently Courtney Love has already moved in with him and will be staying there for a while to rid herself of some nasty prescription habits. She sure seems to have picked an awesome time to get into a relationship. It will be interesting to see exactly how much this one lasts or if Courtney Love manages to escape her addiction or get her new boyfriend in on the game too.

Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan found love on Wall Street – at least on its sequel.

Mulligan, 24, met current boyfriend Shia LaBeouf on the set of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, when she was scripted in as his love interest.

The Daily Mail reports the star of An Education recalled: “The first time we read together we were so nervous. It was just me and Michael [Douglas] and Shia, and neither Shia nor I looked up. You never know how these things are going to work. I’d wanted to work with Shia since A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. He’s amazing. He was so incredible in that film, and we ended up working together well.”

Michael Douglas reprised his role in the original Wall Street for Oliver Stone’s follow-up. But LaBeouf has commented on how the actor struggled through the film’s making with an off-set drama involving his son’s drug charges.

Mulligan has expressed some reservations over not being hired to act since the Wall Street sequel. “I actually don’t have a job [coming up]. It’s been hard to make decisions whilst all this is going on because you don’t want to jump into something.”

She added: “That’s the longest I’ve taken off since I started acting.”

And of course, Courtney Love is a real soul saver, isn’t she? Why, when she’s done with her, Ke$ha will be all soul and nothing else.

An insider revealed to the Daily Mail “Courtney thinks he’s charming and handsome and absolutely has to be Frances’s first date.
