Shania Twain is off the market

December 20th, 2010 | Category: Celebs Engaged, Country Music

It seems that the singer has finally gotten herself taken off of the market. There have been some sources reporting that Shania Twain has been seen with a pretty impressive engagement ring on her finger recently, which can only mean that she got engaged to Frederic Thiebaud. They were probably waiting on this one for some time now since Shania Twain’s divorce only got over and done with this summer. Maybe her new marriage will go a little better than her previous, though fifteen years is not a too bad track record. If Shania Twain manages to beat it, she can retire happily.

Miranda Lambert Engaged

November 13th, 2010 | Category: Celebs Engaged, Country Music

Blake Shelton has finally proposed to Miranda Lambert over the weekend after 5 years of dating. Miranda said “He called my dad and got his blessing first. That was so Southern and old-school and perfect. I was so proud of him. We’ve been together five years, so he knew exactly what I wanted but it’s [the ring] so much more perfect than I could have picked out myself. 2010 will not be forgotten in my world. Weddings are great and engagements are great and diamonds are especially great. But I’m just excited to be married because I want to tell Blake I really can love him the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy.” 2010 has definitely been good to both country singers as they have been blessed with awards and nominations for their work. Congratulations on the engagement!

Carrie Underwood’s bachelorette party

June 30th, 2010 | Category: Carrie Underwood, Country Music, wedding

She said she was going to do this and she held true to her word. Carrie Underwood recently threw her long-awaited bachelorette party just where she said she would: in Las Vegas. This is what a source said about the event: “Around midnight on June 25, Carrie landed at Las Vegas’ Lavo nightclub with about eight girlfriends. She was wearing a mini-dress and a sash that said ‘bachelorette. It wasn’t a rowdy bachelorette party. No shots or singing or anything like that. It was just a group of girls dancing and having fun!” That’s all? Why have a party in Las Vegas if you’re not going to go crazy? Honestly, Carrie Underwood probably just wasted the biggest opportunity of her life.
