Apparently, the cheating douche bag named Ashley Cole has managed to convince his estranged wife Cheryl Cole not to file for a divorce and that she’s agreed to go into counseling with him. According to sources “’Cheryl has agreed to see a counselor with Ashley to hear his issues. She thinks he deserves to be heard and understands how he could think that she let him down as a wife. In essence, she is starting to accept his claim that it is not solely his fault their marriage collapsed. He has managed to persuade her that he’s not a cad – more a victim of circumstance. She’s now starting to think he’s vulnerable and immature and easy prey for predatory women. Of course, Cheryl is devastated and furious at what he’s done. But she accepts she owes it to their marriage to talk it through with him.” The Girls Aloud singer owes him nothing!

This is turning into quite the big spectacle. After only accepting to meet with her soon to be former husband for fifteen minutes, Cheryl Cole has decided she should make him travel all the way to France for that to happen. This is what a source said about her decision: “Cheryl wants to be tough with Ashley and believes that will be easier on neutral territory.” Cheryl Cole is probably just trying to prevent the meeting from happening, but Ashley Cole is probably determined enough to show up even in France… even for just fifteen minutes. If it’s Paris, he might even have a card to play there… or at least that’s what’s driving him through it. Ironic how they both seem to be postponing the inevitable… in their own ways.

Charlie Sheen’s daughter Cassandra Jade Estevez believes rehab is a positive turning point for her father, according to RadarOnline.com.

Estevez, 25, is Sheen’s eldest daughter from a relationship with Paula Speert, a high school girlfriend. Sheen has two other daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and twin sons with his current wife, Brooke Mueller.

Estevez said: “I really don’t want to comment too much but it is a positive thing and he is just trying to do the right thing.”

The Two and a Half Men star has checked into rehab. His wife Brooke has also been in rehab in the wake of a domestic violence incident in Colorado on Christmas Day last year.

The couple’s children, 11-month-olds Max and Bob, are believed to be in the care of a nanny, Radar says.

Movie legend Dennis Hopper has filed for divorce while reportedly on his deathbed, according to US reports.

The Easy Rider star is reportedly facing his “final days surrounded by family and friends” while losing the battle against prostate cancer.

Even so, court records show that the ailing 73-year-old has still filed divorce papers against Victoria Hopper, his wife of 14 years.

The drastic move came reportedly as they squabbled over money and his will – and according to one US report Victoria has now “barricaded herself” in their LA home while the star is on his deathbed in hospital.

The New York Post states: “Hopper, who isn’t expected to live more than a month, is trying to keep his wife from contesting his will, which apparently leaves her only a quarter of his estate. He’s also hoping it will force Victoria from the compound where Hopper and two of his grown children and their families live.”

Victoria is wife number five, but this marriage has far outlasted the previous four, which included the 8-day marriage to Michelle Phillips. He and Victoria have been together for 18 years and have a six-year-old daughter, Galen.

A friend says Hopper’s condition – which has him “mentally incapacitated from the enormous amounts of medication he is on” for his treatment – is “adding to the confusion”.

Ricky Gervais has poked fun at Paul McCartney about his costly divorce from Heather Mills.

The Office star singled out the Beatles legend at the 67th Annual Golden Globes.

Gervais, who was hosting the Hollywood awards show, said of McCartney: “We actually came over on the same flight. I didn’t get to speak to him because I was up the front in first class. He was behind me in coach. Saving money. He spent an awful lot last year. I don’t think we have to feel too sorry for him. He’s doing alright.”

The camera then showed a stony-faced McCartney – who was at the bash with his American socialite girlfriend, Nancy Shevell – raising his hand to his mouth as he listened to Gervais speak.

It seems that Nas had to pay 55000 dollars per month as spousal and child support to Kelis, but he now wants that number reduced to be just for child support. It seems that Kelis will have to reduce her lifestyle a little since Nas is no longer going to be paying off those pleasure bills. At least the kids will have plenty of treat money… that is, if Kelis spends it in their best interest, wouldn’t be the first time that doesn’t happen.

Former child star Corey Feldman has said he is “deeply hurt” that his wife is filing for divorce.

It was recently announced that Corey’s wife Susie Sprague was filing for divorce from the Goonies star after seven years of marriage and will be seeking sole custody of their son Zen, five.

A statement has been released: “Corey is deeply hurt and saddened by this unexpected change in their relationship, and has done nothing to contribute to the demise of the marriage.”

The statement added: “[Feldman is] hopeful that he and Susie can work to resolve this quickly and amicably, and he is fully committed to doing what is best for the welfare of their son.”

The pop singer has reportedly admitted to being happy about getting divorced from Guy Ritchie… even though the statement was made in an unofficial setting. Apparently, Madonna gave the following reply on a friend’s Twitter page after a fan of her explained how glad he was that she was single again: “NOT AS GLAD AS I AM! M.” And of course we are all going to believe that that was really Madonna and those were really her deepest and utmost sincere feelings. Not just some reply aptly given in order to please the fan base… after all, it’s not like Madonna would ever do something like that.

After many a rough and wicked battles, Amy Winehouse’s husband finally got infuriated enough because of the time she’s been having with another man on her holiday that he filled for divorce. Moreover, he wants half of her fortune and a source had this to say about the negotiations: “There was panic in her team that Blake could get access to Amy’s money. This cannot be allowed to happen. Mitch is leading the way but Amy is fully aware of what is happening.” Nothing like indignation to fire up the flames of resentment, eh? I wonder what happened to the “I love you Amy” stuff.

A rep says that they remain close friends and that their family is the priority and will continue to be. The divorce filing states that their marriage had become “insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.” The couple was married back in 1999 and they have 3 children together.
