Zac Hanson’s wife, Kate, has given birth to a baby girl last Wednesday that the couple has decided to name Junia Rosa Ruth. The Hanson drummer said “We couldn’t imagine a better Christmas gift than this sweet little girl. In just the short time she’s been here, she’s enriched our family and our lives beyond measure. We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with our family and introducing her to everyone.” Talk about a true Christmas gift. Congratulations to the couple and to the rest of the family on their new addition. I hope they all have a happy holiday.

Extra host Mario Lopez said he was surprised when his daughter Gia was born as both parents thought they were having a boy. The 37-year-old became a dad for the first time when his girlfriend Courtney Mazza have birth to the little girl in September. He said to UsMagazine.com: “My girl thought we were having a boy the whole time.” And when Gia made her entrance Lopez said he thought it was funny when he found out he had a daughter. He said: “I found it funny. I don’t know why.” Lopez added that Mazza ‘is an awesome mum, a natural’ and said she’s already lost her baby weight. He said: “She’s already back to fighting shape. I couldn’t believe it. She’s back to the weight she was before. She looks better than ever!”

Lily Allen recently told sources that after she found out the sex of her first child, she started thinking about names for the little guy. In the singer’s eyes, her list is stupid and she probably won’t use anything that she has picked so far. Lily explains “The whole thing became a lot more real to me when I found out it was a boy. You start to think of names, and then you can go shopping, and it all feels like it’s happening…I’ve got a really stupid list of names, but I’m not going to show you. But, no, we probably won’t [use it]. I think Sam is way too straight and traditional for that sort of thing. He’d get the piss taken out of him on the building site.” I’m kind of scared to even think about the kinds of names that she’s thought of if even she disapproves of it.

Extra host Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza have become parents for the first time. Lopez, who shot to fame as AC Slater in Saved By The Bell, became a dad on September 11 when Mazza gave birth to 6lbs 4oz baby girl Gia Francesca in Burbank, California. Speaking to Extra, Lopez said: “We are so overjoyed. What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world.” The couple met two years ago when they both starred in the Broadway show A Chorus Line.

Katherine Heigl says she and musician hubby Josh Kelley would like to add to their family.

“We would love to have a second child, adopted or biological,” Heigl said in an interview with Germany’s Gala magazine. “We’re not ruling it out.”

Last year the couple adopted a baby girl from South Korea they named Nancy Leigh. Nicknamed Naleigh, the bub recently underwent heart surgery.

“Just look at Haiti. There’s so many parentless children,” Heigl said. “It breaks my heart. I want to help.”

Talking about parenthood, the 31-year-old Killers actress told Us Magazine: “I’m very grateful to be a mom. It’s changed my whole perspective in a good way.”

Her sister was also adopted from South Korea, one reason she was determined to do the same, Heigl told Ellen DeGeneres last year.

She said she was so determined to adopt that she even made sure Kelley was happy with the idea before they were engaged.

Kim Kardashian has been showing off the new man in her life – her four-month-old nephew.

The reality TV babe posted a picture of herself holding baby Mason – her sister Kourtney’s son – on social networking site Twitter.

Wearing no make up, she planted a kiss on her nephew’s face and wrote: “Good morning kisses w the luv of my life Mason.”

Kim, 29, split from boyfriend Reggie Bush in March and has since been linked to footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

But her 14-year-old sister Kendall has said she is enjoying single life. And her 23-year-old brother Rob added: “She’s working. She doesn’t even think about it.”

Iron Man 2 star Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she would “love” to have another child one day.

Paltrow, 37, who has two young children – Apple, five, and Moses, four – with Coldplay hubby Chris Martin, said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I would love to have another child at some point. I feel very, very lucky that I have two healthy, nice ones.”

She added: “They’re great. They’re so sweet.”

However, the Sliding Doors actress admitted that her kids do sometimes have the odd tantrum, but she said: “It’s part of it. They’re kids and they have to do what they have to do.

“You just have to wear earplugs sometimes.”

James Van Der Beek is going to be a daddy.

The Dawson’s Creek star and his girlfriend, business consultant Kimberly Brook, are expecting their first child.

The 33-year-old actor announced the happy news via his Twitter page.

He Tweeted: “Yes, it’s true – the woman I love and I are expecting our first child. Currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed.”

Van Der Beek – star of the new NBC drama Mercy – began dating Brook last July after his six-year marriage to actress Heather McComb ended.

NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon has revealed that he and his wife are expecting a baby boy.

The 38-year-old recently announced that he and wife Ingrid Vandebosch, 40, are expecting their second child in five months’ time.

He recently posted a message on his website: “I’ll speak with the media here in Talladega in a few minutes, but I wanted to let all of my fans on JeffGordon.com know first that Ingrid and I are having a boy!”

They are already parents to daughter Ella Sofia, two, who was born in June 2007, just seven months after the couple married.

He recently said: “Ella is also very excited and can’t stop talking about how much she’s looking forward to being a big sister.”

It seems that the front man from The Foo Fighters was really marked by the fact that he became a father… and this is apparently reflected in his work too. David Grohl explained the monumental change: “It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate. It’s inevitable that that would make its way into your songwriting. I used to tour nine months out of the year. Now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days.” At least David Grohl is one of those so few that write music out of sentiment and not sales figures. And it’s not so uncommon that having kids makes you have less time for other stuff… that part’s pretty clear, nothing extraordinary there.

Actor Mel Gibson has described his three-month-old daughter Lucia as an ‘angel’.

The 54-year-old became a dad for the eighth time when his girlfriend, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, gave birth to daughter Lucia in October last year.

Talking about his little girl, he said: “[She's] beautiful, like an angel. She luckily looks more like her mother than me and is an angel – and the mother, turns out she’s a wonderful mother.”

Asked if he is planning to walk down the aisle with Grigorieva, he said: “She’d make a wonderful wife, but for the moment, she’s a mother.”

The singer and actress who has recently given birth to her first son with husband David Otunga admitted that the C-section she went through was a synch as she felt no pain at all. Here are Jennifer Hudson’s words on the matter: Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterwards but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others. By the night after I had the baby, I’m like, ‘Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore. I’ve got to get up!’ I’ve been up and about since he was born. When Jennifer Hudson has to bring a baby into the world in the middle of a forest, in winter, with only a blunt rock to perform a C-section, then she can see her true tolerance to pain.

The daughter of action hero Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, has revealed that she “loves the idea” of her mother and step-dad Ashton Kutcher having a baby together.

Moore, 46, who already has three girls, Tallulah, Scout and Rumer, with her Die Hard ex-husband Willis, has said recently that she would love to have a child with Kutcher, 31, who she married in 2005.

Rumer, 21, has said that she loves the current family set-up and hopes that her mum will fall pregnant for the fourth time with the What Happens In Vegas star.

She said: ”I love the idea. After all, our family continues to grow in so many ways all the time – growing in numbers could be a good thing.”

She also added that she hopes her new sibling will be a boy.

Bones star David Boreanaz has become a dad for the second time.

The actor and wife Jaime Bergman are celebrating the birth of daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz,.

Baby Bardot weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and joins big brother Jaden Rayne, seven, at home.

The birth comes as a relief to Boreanaz, who had been staying close to home in case Bergman, who had been on bed-rest, went into early labour.

The former Angel and Buffy star, 40, revealed recently: “I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that.

“If I do, I’ll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes.”

And wife Jaime, 33, had admitted: “We’ve been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited.

“We’re over the moon.”

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian said she wishes her dad was alive after finding out she is expecting her first child.

Kardashian, 30, is expecting a baby at Christmas with boyfriend Scott Disick, however she said that the pregnancy is “bittersweet” as her father is no longer alive.

Her attorney dad Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003 aged 59 after suffering from esophageal cancer.

She said: “I wish my dad was here, but I know that he is here with us [in spirit], and I feel like this is definitely a blessing from him. I would love for him to be here and experience this all. I feel like he would be so happy.

“It’s bittersweet, and that’s how I feel about getting married, too. I almost don’t want to get married because I don’t want him to not be there.”

The actress-singer has revealed that bringing up her 18-month-old twins Max and Emme has put the brakes on her professional life.

“There’s nothing as huge as giving birth to another human being and having to be responsible for another life,” she said.

“There’s you before kids, and there’s you after kids – and they’re not the same you.”

Lopez turned 40 in July, and said that all aspects of her life have changed.

“[Parenthood] totally changes your perspective on everything,” she said.

“You don’t come first anymore. There’s somebody else you care more about than yourself.”

She said she has now stepped down from the “hamster-wheel” of her multi-faceted professional life.

“I’m at a point in my life when I just don’t feel the need to put out anything unless I totally, absolutely feel it says what I want to say,” Lopez said about her music career.

Despite being married to hubby Marc Anthony for five years, she admitted that she is “still figuring [marriage] out as I go along”, and revealed that she has had “hard experiences and a lot of ups and downs and a lot of mistakes”.

“I’m old enough to know now that relationships take work. That’s it’s not an easy thing,” she said.

Pete Wentz opened up a bit more on his life and his druggy past in the new December issue of Details magazine. On finding out about becoming a dad, Pete said “I was like, ‘Oh my God, this might be the worst possible time to have this conversation. I was definitely scared, just thinking, This is something that’s going to exist for the rest of your life and you can’t fuck it up…It was a happy accident. But I think that certain things happen for a reason in your life, and maybe it was time to put the wild child in the cage.” And it seems that being a dad was what saved him from drugs saying “After Heath Ledger, I was just like, Man, this is not going to end up good…I realized I found my soul mate, and it made me want to be a better person. Now, with the baby, I want to be the best dad I can be.”

Bronx Mowgli’s proud papa, Pete Wentz, is slowly opening up about his new role as a dad. During a recent radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, the Fall Out Boy bassist spoke about his baby’s name and revealed “I feel weird—people have all these ideas of what it means now. I think it’s kind of cool to leave the narrative the way it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever…I don’t think anybody knows the real story of why or how. We came up with the idea Bronx, we’d been throwing it back and forth a while ago.” The baby’s middle name, Mowgli, he says “The Jungle Book is something me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s really cool.”

No matter how popular she is Christina Aguilera talks and acts like an ordinary mom. That is, she thinks the world of her son Max and is amazed with just about everything about him. Christina, who was seen in a midtown hotel with the other man in her life, has recently noticed how Max is starting to grow up fast

Despite, or should we say “because of” motherhood, Christina’s “Keeps Gettin’ Better” album looks like another feather in her cap. However, she still thinks her greatest accomplishment in life is giving birth to Max who is already 10 months old. Max is at that stage when he is showing signs that he is ready to walk, Christina said and she is very excited about it.

At a young age, Max is showing a lot of her mother in her especially with his penchant for moving and shaking. This would seem normal for every kid but Christina is seeing something else like the possibility of Max being a future drummer because he keeps on banging on things.

And with Christmas just around the corner, this new mom is just excited to show her son the best holiday ever!
