Britney Spears recently said that she has had a very nasty year. She said: The whole year has been a hell of a year for me. I have been working so hard on my album, but I didn’t know exactly where I stood with everyone. When I received my MTV Video MTV Music Awards and the audience stood for me, it showed me how much love is out there. Recording this album has helped take my mind off certain things. For me, my music is therapy.” I remember at some point that some people actually deal in getting audiences for shows, so many Britney is a bit confused. Those people there were maybe just doing her job. She is to release her new album.

Britney Spears will be perform in the UK abet on a TV show and not live of stage as of now. She will however perform live on stage in June of 2009. I’m sure her fans in England would love to see her perform live much sooner.

It would be safe to say that she is well on course for a full and successful comeback now and the miseries of the last 2 years are well behind her now and hopefully it stays like that. I was complete rubbish from her during that period and everyday celebrity news consisted of her involved in a mishap or something awful.

Spears, it is said will be singing her new song ‘Womanizer’ on TV, a song which she has recorded as part of her soon to be released album ‘Cricus’.

If this album manages to succeed the way her previous album have then it would surely put her back on the path of being called amongst the greatest modern artists of her time.

There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do. I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. Britney Spears has recently released the cover as well as the track listing for her upcoming album ‘Circus’ via her official website BritneySpears.com. The album is scheduled to drop in stores on December 2nd, the same day as her birthday. There are 12 songs on the album with a 13th track being a bonus song. The list goes as follows: ‘Womanizer’, ‘Circus’, ‘Out From Under’, ‘Kill the Lights’, ‘Shattered Glass’, ‘If U Seek Amy’, ‘Unusual You’, ‘Blur’, ‘Mmm Papi’, ‘Mannequin’, ‘Lace and Leather’, ‘My Baby’ and ‘Radar’. If the rest of her album receives as much attention as her single ‘Womanizer’, we can officially say that Britney has successfully made her comeback.

The 26-year-old comeback pop princess just revealed her next album will be released by late December. “It’s my best work ever,” Britney proudly told OK!.
Britney also said she is planning a big birthday bash to celebrate Jayden’s second birthday on Sept. 12 and Preston’s third birthday on Sept. 14, with the help of her father.

“I want to have a traditional party,” she said. “I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite.”
And as far as her custody battle goes, “her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons as soon as her dad, Jamie’s status as her conservator ends,” a Spears insider revealed.

Britney Spears is turning out to be really good in comedies. There’s that stint she did on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and now she has two new hilarious 2008 MTV VMAs commercial featuring host Russell Brand and herself. A source tells E! “It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show. There’s also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in ‘the elephant in the room.’” The VMAs will air live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles and one-time only in its original format on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM Live ET and Tape Delayed PT.

While some reports claimed that she was free to leave the nest, a court hearing held on Thursday confirms that Britney Spears is still a daddy’s girl and is still officially under the control of Jamie Spears. The court has extended the conservatorship through December 31. There’s a status hearing on October 28 with the commissioner leaving the option open to end the conservatorship early. It was said that Britney agreed to having the conservatorship extended though she did seem a bit reluctant at first. It looks like she’s finally learned to follow some rules and might also think that while she would love to finally be free, she still needs some help.

I do, I do…but then I’d have to become anorexic and work out crazily to be able to wear any of them.

Anyways, if you’re interested, seven pieces of Britney’s clothing will be auctioned off as a part of a Rock and Roll Auction. One of the auctioned items is going to be a tee worn by Brit when she was on the New Mickey Mouse Club.

Other items up for grabs? Costumes Britney wore for tours, outfits she wore to music awards, and the blue and white Santa dress she wore in a 2000 Pepsi ad.

The auction will be online between July 21 and August 6.

Britney Spears is looking back to her old self and it seems the people who matter are taking notice.

Bosses at MTV could be set to ask her to return to September’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) despite her disastrous performance just 12 months ago.

She gave a dreadful and out of time rendition of single Gimme More at the bash in Las Vegas. She was later spotted crying backstage.

So could Brit be set for her second “comeback” in as many years?

MTV president Van Toffler revealed: “Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?”

Let’s hope Britney gets it right this time. Otherwise she might not get that third and final strike before she’s down and out.

Britney Spears was reportedly granted overnight visits with her two children yesterday.

The latest court hearing in her lengthy custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline allowed the singer to spend more time with her sons, Sean Preston, two, and 20-month-old Jayden James.

A court spokesperson would not comment on whether the reports of overnight visits were true, only saying: “There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon this morning. I’m not at liberty to answer any questions about the nature of that change.”

When asked whether she was happy about the outcome of the hearing, Britney – accompanied by father and co-conservator of her estate Jamie – smiled and said: “Yes.”

The case will be reviewed in another hearing on July 15. Britney lost custody of the children in October, and had all rights to see them withdrawn following her alleged breakdown in January.

Subsequent court appearances have seen her visitation time slowly increased.
