Britney Spears recently premiered the music video for her new single “Criminal”. The pop singer has decided to raise the bar of great music videos with her latest visual. The video was filmed in London and it’s a fantastic histrionic, sexy and cinematic effort. Britney gets into the character of a high-society woman who has an obnoxious boyfriend. They fight and he slaps her but then her “criminal” lover, played by real life boyfriend Jason Trawick, comes in to save the day. Then the new couple begins their Bonnie and Clyde type of relationship with some super steamy scenes in between. This video is amazing!

A source from Mouawad jewelry store where Jason Trawick spent more than an hour talking with jeweler Pascal Mouawad, told X17: “They talked about the private collection of Mouawad diamonds. This is the first visit Jason pays to Pascal. ”

Pauly D is pictured laughing out loud while getting some special treatment from Britney Spears during her Femme Fatale tour performance on Thursday in Montreal, Canada. The 31-year old “Jersey Shore” star, despite being so tan, visibly blushed on stage while DJ’ing the pop singer’s show because he ended up getting a lap dance from Britney herself. Britney recently did this lap dance routine on her boyfriend Jason Trawick so I guess it was Pauly’s turn last night. Pauly D took to his Twitter after the show, saying “Wow Got On Stage With @britneySpears And She Gave Me A Lap Dance !!!!! #DJPaulyDSwagg”.

Starting on October 16th, Joe Jonas will be making his way around Europe with Britney Spears as her opening act. The Femme Fatale tour will be seeing Nicki Minaj part ways with the pop princess so that the Jonas Brothers singer turned solo artist can have a turn in the spotlight. As you can imagine, Joe is pretty stoked about it. He said “It’s a dream come true. She was the first girl I ever had a poster on my wall of, and her album was the first CD I ever bought. It’s so funny to think I had that on my wall and here I am about to perform with her.” Joe officially joined the tour at the New Jersey stop and will open 9 shows in Europe, with performances in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland and the UK.

After Enrique Iglesias dropped off of Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour mere hours after they were announced as co-headliners, there’s been a lot of speculation as to who would be taking his place and if there would be any delays because of the last minute changes needed to be made. However, you can now rest easy as Nicki Minaj is officially set to perform alongside the pop singer as a special guest, with Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo as their opening acts. Britney said “This is the Femme Fatale tour and I’m thrilled to have the hot Nicki Minaj join me and Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo will get everyone on the dance floor. Can’t wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road.”

It seems that this classic little mishap of theirs will forever remain in history as it was voted on first place of a recent top of kisses from the last decade. This is what a source said about Madonna and Britney Spears’ unique moment together: “Madonna performing with both Britney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody – even the MTV people – expected what happened. It is one of the most memorable moments ever.” Well, probably the next, natural thing to happen would be for the three of them to get feisty with each other… but by that time, the MTV Video Music Awards would probably be an entirely different show… with an entirely different name.

Britney Spears’ former husband recently came out and admitted that he has been gaining a lot of weight recently because he is tackling depression. This is what Kevin Federline said on the matter: “Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything. You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed. I mean, it’s a combination of all of those things.” Oh yes, it’s a regular wormhole of death that Kevin Federline has gotten himself into and no one is ever going to be able to save him from it. Alas, another great artist is lost to the world!

It was fun while it lasted apparently… but too all things must come an end, it seems. Britney Spears and Jason Tarwick after she found out he was getting frisky with two women in an LA bar. This is what a source related about Britney Spears’ much too playful boyfriend: “When she heard he’d been caught cozying up two girls in The Roger Room, it was the last straw. Jason’s really not like this and quickly tried to calm Britney down and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row. Everyone is assuming it’s over – for the time being anyway.” It looks like Britney Spears has developed quite the temper, no listening to explanations, no benefit of the doubt, just wham: get out! Britney Spears is tapping into some Australian model talent – but for her songs, not her look.

Spears has been in touch with songwriting twins and models Olivia and Miriam Nervo, who are billed as an emerging international pop act.

Spears has asked the Nervo Sisters to write some new material for her following the success of their work overseas. The pair have written a song that topped the British charts last month, the catchy When Love Takes Over. The song was performed by David Guetta and former Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland.

Spears considered the Nervo Sisters’ work in the past, but did not include the track she eyed

on her album. Olivia Nervo has had a local hit titled Boob Job.

Britney Spears’s recent stunt at the GM Place in Vancouver should be taken as a pitch for the anti-smoking campaign. Britney Spears walked out of the stage right after she started her Circus Show. She was dressed in a ringleader costume with matching whip but when she removed the jacket she was clad only in a sparkling bra with bare midriff. The fans started to go wild and chanted “Britney! Britney” when the stage went dark. After a while it was announced that the performance will resume after the air clears since it is no longer comfortable and safe for the performers.

After a lot of booing and howling for 30 minutes Britney Spears appeared and sang “If U Seek Amy” as well as “Me Against the Music”. Britney closed the Circus show with “Womanizer” but not before telling the Vancouver crowd to stop smoking weed. That proved to be a very high profile campaign pitch not only against smoking but against smoking weed. Way to go Britney Spears!

Lindsay Lohan was apparently given the chance to work on a new album. Whoever granted her that was stupid. Now, it is being said that Lindsay wants to do a cover of a Britney Spears song. Rumors are going around that the songs that Lindsay has got her eyes on are ‘Womanizer’ or ‘Oops!… I Did it Again’. We all know the wonders that those two songs did for Britney’s career but I really doubt that it would work as well for Lindsay. Oh well, if she does follow-through with covering either song, at least we have something to laugh out our butts off.

The singer finally had the first show of her long-awaited tour was finally set in motion with the show at the New Orleans Arena on March 3rd. Britney Spears apparently did put on quite a show at a technical level, but she resorted to playback for most of the songs, and the only words she actually said in the whole show were these, spoken at the very end of the show: “Thank you New Orleans, I love u guys. Did y’all have a good time? Thank you so much.” Right, hell of a comeback for Britney Spears, songs that are “sung” in playback and just a few words at the end after such a long absence. If her fans let her get away with this, they should also be tarred and feathered.

The All-American Rejects, hot off their December release of When The World Comes Down, have taken their time in the Yahoo! Music studio to bring a stripped down version of Britney Spears’ hit “Womanizer” to life. Packed with an accordion, clanking beer bottles, and a unison of “whooooos” the cover is described by frontman Tyson Ritter as “better than Britney” and can be seen at Yahoo! Music.

In another stripped down performance, The All-American Rejects’ performed their hit single, “Gives You Hell” acoustically. The band has uploaded the bare-bones version that can be heard at myspace.com/allamericanrejects.

Britney Spears’ music video for her title track ‘Circus’ has officially been released. The video was directed by Francis Lawrence. He’s the same guy who directed the recovered signer’s video for ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ and also directed the movie ‘I Am Legend’. The new video was supposed to have premiered Friday last week but due to overwhelming fan demand and an unexpected YouTube leak earlier last week, the pop princess was forced to release it last Thursday. It works out in the end because it just adds more hype to her comeback. The video looks great too! It’s another hot one for Britney.

Britney Spears’ camp is trying to distance itself from the debacle at the London club this past weekend which caused a lot of fans to get angry. Sources close to the recovered singer say that she was never scheduled to perform or appear at the club and that the promoters of the night falsely spread info that Britney will be there. Not wanting to let down her fans, Britney decided to show up. But after it was determined that the venue was unsafely over capacity and that the crowds were too unruly, Brit ended up just going to the club’s VIP area where she stayed for a few hours, waving to fans down below.

Pop princess Britney Spears is celebrating her birthday today with the release of her highly anticipated album, Circus, and the announcement of North American tour dates! Britney will be kicking off The Circus tour this spring in New Orleans with support from the Pussycat Dolls.
