Travis Barker Attends DJ AM’s Funeral
DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was laid to rest at a private funeral attended by friends and family, including the likes of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and actor Scott Caan, at Hillside Memorial Park last Wednesday in Culver City, California. A memorial was also held last Thursday night at LA’s Hollywood Palladium for AM, who died at the age of 36. MTV recently released a statement regarding his death saying “MTV was honored to support him as he helped young people battle their own addictions. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to his family.” Rest in peace DJ AM.

Just right on the heels of the announcement that Blink 182 will be reuniting to present an award at the Grammy Awards, details of a new Blink 182 record are slowly coming out to the mainstream. David Kennedy, the guitarist for Blink member Tom DeLonge’s side project, Angels & Airwaves, confirmed the bands future plans on the Angels & Airwaves message board this past Thursday. David told the fans that “Blink is coming back… [they're] putting out a record.” That’s exciting news! I wonder if the recent happenings in their lives will affect their music and give them a whole new sound.
