Robbie Willliams receiving a reward
The recently troubled pop singer is apparently about to enter the category of âpop legendsâ as he will be receiving an award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at the BRIT awards of next year. The chairman of the BRIT Committee said the following about Robbie Williams: “Robbie is one of the outstanding artists and performers of his generation. It will be an absolute thrill to have him at the BRITs 30th anniversary show receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award. We are delighted.” Well, it looks like Robbie Williamsâ impending nervous breakdown has finally paid off⌠heâs going to be rewarded for all of his stress and troubles. Oh happy days!

Jennifer Hudson is back after the tragic deaths of her mother, nephew and brother last October. Her family members were allegedly killed by her brother-in-law who has already been charged for the killings. Hudson is one of the two former American Idol winners, the other one being Carrie Underwood, who will perform during the Grammy Awards next month. Hudson has also been nominated for three Grammys including Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or group With Vocals , Best R&B Album and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance. Aside from the Grammy’s Hudson is also set to sing the national anthem in the Tampa Super Bowl this February.
The other artists who are set to perform during the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on February 8 are the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Kenny Chesney, Lil’ Wayne and Coldplay. Technically, it is the Super Bowl which will be Hudson first public performance after the tragedy. Hudson’s singing of the national anthem for the Super Bowl has already been confirmed by National Football League spokesman Brian McCarthy. The 27-year old singer and actress, who won the Oscar’s Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Dreamgirls, has released a self-titled album before the death of her family members. She has also appeared in Sex and the City as well as in The Secret Life of Bees.
