It looks like the singer doesn’t want to let the turmoil that she caused in her marital life affect her career. Ashlee Simspon has recently revealed that she is currently working on a new album whose release might not be too far away. This is what she tweeted on the matter: Writing sesh on the balcony. My album doesn’t seem so far away…” Well if Ashlee Simpson is going to release a new album, there’s probably going to be some touring involved as well. This is Pete Wentz’s chance for a little revenge: now it’s time to see who gets grief for the excessive touring and whatnot… the turmoil can continue.

It came as a shock to a lot of people when Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce from her hubby Pete Wentz. I’m still reeling from the news, mainly because I still don’t know the reason why she’s doing it. From what I could tell, they were a happy family. However, sources are reporting that the singer/actress wanted out of the marriage for a very long time and even though Pete is begging her to reconsider, she’s had enough. A source even said that Pete had cried to Ashlee, insisting that they could make the relationship work but Ashlee didn’t budge. I am really curious as to what happened between them to lead to this.

The singer seems to be extremely excited about the upcoming celebration since she hopes she will be getting the upper hand over Pete Wentz. This is what Ashlee Simpson said on the matter: “Every Valentine’s Day is sweet. Pete’s very creative, so he’s always coming up with something clever and surprising me. Hopefully, I’ll surprise him this year.” Hopefully Pete Wentz is good at acting surprised because he’ll be expecting something from Ashlee Simpson given the fact that she decided to publicly declare that she intends to surprise him. Maybe it’s reverse psychology, maybe Ashlee Simpson’s surprise is that there is no surprise.

Ashlee Simpson is really mad about the reports about her sister Jessica being fat. In a blog, she gives everyone who called her big sister fat a verbal tongue lashing. She wrote “I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News. All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard… How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?” I have to ask, how can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves when Ashlee gets a nose job and Jessica plumps her lips with fillers?

The beautiful flame-haired singer Ashlee Simpson gave birth to a cute baby boy on November 20, 2008 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The baby has been named Bronx Mowgli Wentz and is weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz.

A rep of the gorgeous singer told the OK! Magazine, “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”

Interestingly, Ashlee Simpson was placed in the same suite in the maternity ward where Julia Roberts delivered her twins.

While taping an upcoming episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jessica Simpson says her little sister may have to induce labor soon. People reports:
“They’re going to have to. It’s already developing really quick,” Jessica said Monday at a taping of the The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

According to her husband, Pete Wentz, she was more than two weeks ago as due at any moment. He also said that they have tried other ways to begin labor.

“Different foot massages and stuff,” Jessica told DeGeneres in the show airing Wednesday. “I don’t know. I think she’s really just jumping around trying everything right now.”
Hmmm. Should Ashlee be getting medical advice from Jessica? REMEMBER BUFFALO WINGS?

The newly famous Ashlee seems to be really excited about her upcoming child birth and has recently organized a baby shower to this extent. One must wonder though how excited the little unborn must feel to be fathered by a man who only earlier this year stated bluntly on the cover of Out Magazine “Yeah, I’m a fag” just because, and quote, “I know I am going to get a reaction”. It seems that the future of the human race is assured with such well-influenced offspring getting ready to come into our world.
