Cameron Diaz has revealed that she ‘loves men more than anything’. The 38-year-old actress – who is dating baseball star Alex Rodriguez, and counts Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto among her exes – said that she adored the opposite sex, but believes that they need a woman who will ‘challenge’ them. She told Maxim, "I love men more than anything. I want all men to be happy and have rad women in their lives. "But guys need women who challenge them and don’t let them get away with their s**t. Women, conversely, need to not be crazy bitches who blow up when their guys tell them something that scares them." Despite hailing her current relationship as ‘awesome’, she vowed not to give into pressure from society and walk down the aisle. "I think we have to make our own rules," she explained. "I don’t think we should live our lives in relationships based off old traditions that don’t suit our world any longer."

Kate Hudson is visiting Aspen to spend time with girlfriends in an attempt to get over Alex Rodriguez, according to reports.

Sources say the actress is surrounding herself with her gal pals rather than moving on to the next guy she sees.

“Kate is a serial dater, but it seems like she wants to take some time off and just be with her girlfriends,” a source said.

Over the weekend, Kate was spotted shopping in Ralph Lauren with Elle Macpherson and was later seen grabbing ice cream at Paradise Bakery across the street.

And according to reports, her New Year’s Eve plans were ruined by the sudden break-up. A source says: “They were both scheduled to appear together at several bashes. Obviously that’s not happening now as she cancelled. She cancelled everything. She’s not going to Miami at all.”

Meanwhile, insiders say the split from Kate hasn’t stopped A-Rod’s partying ways. “Alex is probably still going, and no doubt will be flirting up a storm – as he usually does,” says the source.

Kate Hudson was spotted house-shopping with Alex Rodriguez in Malibu.

She was also said to be showing a baby bump-like stomach but a pregnancy remains unconfirmed. Hudson has a son, Ryder, with her former husband rocker Chris Robinson.

Baseball star Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, brought along his two children. They checked out an eight-bedroom home in Pacific Palisades and others in the $10million range, it was reported.

Hudson’s stepfather Kurt Russell joined the group before they all dined at Tony Taverna.

The pair has been dating since May. Hudson has had relationships with Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong since splitting with Robinson of The Black Crowes.

Reportedly, Kate has moved in with Rodriguez, 34, and is staying in his New York apartment.

Alex’s friend revealed: “Kate’s always at his New York apartment, even on the days when he’s on the road.”

The pal added: “She’s made herself quite comfortable in his life. She’s met his oldest daughter and her son likes Alex.

“Kate has become very serious about him.”

Hudson, 30, who has a son, Ryder, with her ex, singer Chris Robinson, has moved things along quickly with her new lover Alex as the pair have been together only for a few months.
