Taylor Swift recently premiered the music video for her song “Sparks Fly”. Despite having her CDs and singles sell like hotcakes, the country singer delivered a very cheap visual for it. If “Sparks Fly” is going to close out her “Speak Now” era, it deserved a bigger effort and a better budget. The video is basically a compilation of footage from Taylor’s current “Speak Now” tour. But I have to say, the concert clip is a hundred times better than the “Fearless” video. I still want her to deliver some cool videos though and not just go the easy route.

The 14-year old pop singer was constantly being bullied in school after her YouTube viral hit “Friday” made the headlines. Joe Jonas may have reached pop super stardom with the Jonas Brothers but being part of a band with his brothers hasn’t exactly helped him to a good start on his solo music career. His solo debut single “See No More” is flopping hard and has left the singer looking like a fool. The single, produced by Brian Kennedy and written by Chris Brown, showed Joe taking some risks with an urban pop sound that I personally thought was a good thing but the song is outside of the US iTunes Top 100 and at a low spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Joe can’t do much else other than keep promoting and pray for a miracle. He recently performed on Lopez Tonight where he gave a solid performance of “See No More”. The vocals were hot but I just can’t understand the random dancers behind him.
