The singer who is expecting her first child with her husband Rohan this very summer has recently admitted that there is something very calm and relaxing about pregnancy. This is what Dido said on the matter: “There’s a real calmness about it which I think is really nice. Your decisions are sort of made for you. You just have this priority that is unchangeable and I think that’s a great calmness that comes from that.” The way Dido describes it, it does sound like a really sweet time. Oh for the good old days when pregnant women had to tend to an entire household and five other starving children while their husbands were off working the fields or dying on them.

Russell Brand has revealed that he would rather give up money than love. The reformed ladies’ man, who wed singer Katy Perry last October, said that marriage has changed his life for the better. He told US magazine Redbook: "If you’re wild, like a wild animal, marriage won’t contain you. I think that’s how a lot of people get into trouble. I think I was ready for it. "I’m discovering how lovely permanence and building an ongoing relationship can be, rather than always thinking, ‘What’s next?’ "I would never give up love; I’d definitely give up money.” The Tempest star added: "I feel quite lucky – now that I’m married, I have this great love and partnership in my life that is the most important thing to me. I also happen to be married to a girl who is quite a lot of fun."

According to sources, Miley Cyrus is still acting all flirtatious towards Kings of Leon member Jared Followill. Apparently, ever since the pop singer/actress and the rock star got cozy back at the EMAs in November, Miley’s been keeping up with flirting via text. A source said “Miley wants to keep Jared interested. She often sends him coy text messages. So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending. He’s such a fan, in fact, he’s been bragging to his friends about her texts! Jared loves showing off his texts from Miley. He thinks she’s very pretty and is excited she’s still flirting with him.” Whatever.

Hollywood star Johnny Depp once shocked a fan when he turned up to his house to accept an invite for dinner. The 47-year-old decided to take a fan up on his offer after revealing he often gets odd requests when he signs autographs. The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor told US entertainment website Extra: "It’s been everything from ‘Can you talk to my mum on the phone?’ to ‘Will you come home with me to dinner?’" Depp added: "I did go to someone’s house once. He was having marital problems and I tried to mediate. Unfortunately it did not work out."

The Girls Aloud singer who recently celebrated her engagement to DJ Tom Crane apparently sure knows how to throw a party since the one for her engagement lasted over two days. This is what one of the participants had to relate about Sarah Harding’s big party: “Most people who attended were clever enough to book the whole week off. Sarah knows how to throw a good knees-up so everyone prepared for a wild night. We were still up at 2pm the day after singing karaoke in her hotel room.” Well it’s a good thing that Sarah Harding decided to party now while she still can… married life doesn’t usually afford that luxury.

The singer recently admitted that even though she and Deryck Whibley from Sum41 broke-up after four years of marriage, they will always have a special emotional bond between them. This is what Avril Lavigne said on the matter: “We’re very good friends. He’s family to me. We both respect and care for each other very much. We’re in a great place.” Right… and Deryck Whibley sure feels the same way, especially considering that Avril Lavigne practically replaced him with Brody Jenner. There is certainly a lot of love to be found there. It’s probably only working obligations that still keep Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley in that so-called great place.

Even though they have not yet officially admitted to dating, it seems that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are certainly interacting to that extent on twitter. However, to Justin Bieber’s tweet in which he expresses his longing for Selena Gomez’s presence, she had the following to reply: “@justinbieber I miss all of y’all” Such words are somewhat puzzling… what exactly have Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez been doing during their time together? Wasn’t Justin Bieber supposed to be a guy who only dates girls approved of by mom? The plot seems to thicken more and more with each passing day…

Could Chord Overstreet be the guy for Taylor Swift? The country singer’s little hockey date with the “Glee” actor seems to be turning into more as the two are said to be hitting it off. An insider said “Taylor reached out to Chord. After the [hockey game], Taylor and Chord grabbed a bite. He’s into her. She’s getting to know him. He’s hot, young and single — and he’s closer to her age than Jake Gyllenhaal [30].” And with those two sharing the same interests, it seems that Chord and Taylor are a better match. I just hope it lasts for the both of them.

Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds appears to have moved on with his life after splitting from wife Scarlett Johansson. Reynolds filed for divorce in December from Johansson after two years of marriage. Johansson has recently been linked to actor Sean Penn after they were spotted enjoying each other’s company in Mexico. Now it appears that Reynolds, 34, has also found a new companion. According to reports, the actor has been getting cosy with German model Agnes Fischer both on and off the South African set of the political thriller Safe House. Fischer, who reportedly turns 25 next week, has a small part in the film. Reynolds’s rep refused to comment.

It looks like Mariah Carey didn’t feel to good about herself after performing a private show for the son of Libya’s Colonel Gaddafi… a performance for which she received the not to small sum of one million dollars. This is what Mariah Carey had to say on the matter: “I was naive and unaware of who I was booked to perform for. I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess. Ultimately we as artists are to be held accountable. Going forward, this is a lesson for all artists to learn from. We need to be more aware and take more responsibility regardless of who books our shows.” Well if Mariah Carey does feel so horrible about getting paid with supposed blood money, she could do what Beyonce did and put it to work for a good cause. That might make things easier with Mariah Carey’s conscience.

Actress Sienna Miller has laughed off rumours that she split up with Jude Law for a co-star. The 29-year-old, who ended her 13-month relationship with Jude in January, insists the split was ‘amicable and mutual’. And she added that she is not dating Joe Armstrong, with whom she stars in London stage production Flare Path. She told Time Out magazine: "I’m single! Poor Joe is like, ‘What is going on?’ We find it ridiculous and laughable. I do feel very picked apart by it. "When two people have separated and have both stated that it’s amicable and mutual yet, regardless of that it’s not a nice feeling to have people talk about you behind your back and for it not to be true and for you not to be able to retaliate."

I Am Number Four star Alex Pettyfer was reportedly uninvited from an Oscars party after becoming a ‘liability’. The 20-year-old actor used to date Glee star Dianna Agron and he reportedly flew into a jealous rage at a Hollywood club just days before the Academy Awards took place. A source said to Us Weekly: "His agents told him not to go to the February 26 Night Before party." It has also been claimed that his agents are planning to fire him and his recent actions mean he’s ‘become a liability’. However his rep William Morris told the US magazine that he ‘is still a client’ of theirs.

Despite Justin Bieber’s overwhelming popularity with girls all over the world, the pop singer didn’t fare too well at the NME Awards where he won the Worst Album and Least Stylish Awards. I doubt that would hurt the teen sensation much considering he has top selling albums, a top selling movie, the very beautiful Selena Gomez as his girlfriend and loads of cash. They’re not his target audience anyway. I know I’m not his biggest fan but I can at least respect the fact that he works hard. And by the way, today is actually his birthday so I’m going easy on him with this post.
