Although Kate Bush’s last record was released back in 2005, the singer has decided to put out a new album of music with her longtime label EMI later this year. Kate has released eight studio albums, all of which have charted within the top 10. So to say that she makes great music would be an understatement. With five years behind her, I’m expecting a lot of new things from her when it comes to her sound, lyrics and emotions. I wonder why it took her this long to decide to put another record out. Whatever her reasons, I’m just glad she’s back.

Ginnifer Goodwin has shown off her engagement ring on the Jimmy Fallon Show. The He’s Just Not That Into You star recently got engaged to actor Joey Kern, and the actress could not hide her joy as she showed off her ring. “I’m psyched!” she told Fallon, adding: “I’ll always have a date! He HAS to go out with me!” She said Kern was “southern and perfect” when he proposed, but of her own reaction admitted: “I was not graceful – I was just snotting all over the place”, from her tears of joy.

The singer recently admitted that he does like to keep things from getting boring with his wife in the bedroom so he likes to get into the occasional dress-up with her and whatnot. This is what Sting had to say on the matter: “When we see each other, it’s romance. I don’t think pedestrian sex is very interesting. There’s a playfulness we have; I like the theater of sex. I like to look good. I like her to dress up. I like to dress her up.” Well there’s certainly nothing wrong with spicing things up and it does seem to have done wonders for Sting… you never hear any talk of divorce or serious arguments in his household.

Jenny McCarthy has revealed how she met her new man on a blind date after begging her friends to find her a ‘good man’. “He was my fifth blind date,” McCarthy told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres of current squeeze, Boston sports agent, Paul Krepelka. “I told everyone I know, ‘Find me a good man’.” She admits the previous four blind dates had been disastrous. “The first blind dates were these really bizarre dudes that were like, ‘Do you know Sharon Stone?’” McCarthy, 38, laughed. “And I’m sitting on a date going, ‘Well, I know of her. I’ve seen her in movies.’ ‘Well, do you think you can get an autograph?’ I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’ “It was my sister who turned me on to Paul.” However, she admits she finds his heavy Boston accent tough to understand, meaning she can’t be entirely sure of the status of their relationship. “His accent is so strong, it’s like Good Will Hunting strong, that I really can’t understand anything he says to me,” she said.

Kate Hudson was desperate for another child before falling pregnant, according to reports. The 31-year-old actress, who is expecting her first child with Muse front man Matthew Bellamy, was said to be keen to give son Ryder, seven, a baby brother, or sister. A source told People Magazine, “Kate really wanted another baby. “And Matthew is a great person to do that with. He’s a very good person. He loves Kate’s carefree attitude and he has a lot of fun with her.” Hudson was previously married to Ryder’s dad, Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson.

Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger helped Kirsten Dunst deal with her long-distance relationship – although he won’t have known he did. The 67-year-old rocker’s voice helped sooth Kirsten when she played The Rolling Stones’ track She Smiled Sweetly over and over to try and come to terms with the fact her unnamed boyfriend was never about. In an upcoming radio interview on Los Angeles’ KCRW, she reportedly says: “When I was going through this heartbreak with someone that I was never with, I played this song over and over and over again. “I love when Mick Jagger sings a softer song, and this was a really romantic song to me… It’s romantic, but to me it’s so heartbreaking and it is definitely a private song.” The 28-year-old Spider-Man actress added: “It is one you listen to by yourself… It’s definitely an alone in your car song. It feels like someone you can’t be with.”

Keira Knightley and actor Rupert Friend have reportedly called time on their relationship after five years. The couple met on the set of Pride And Prejudice in 2005, but are believed to have called it off just before Christmas. Keira’s father Will Knightley told The Sun, “Yes, they have broken up. “But that’s the way things go, unfortunately. The only option is to get on with things. “They were together for quite a long time and it is always hard breaking up. She’s focused on her work.” A source added that the pressures of fame were a contributing factor in the split. She said, “Rupert hates the idea of being followed and photographed. Keira partially had to accept it because of her rising profile. “It affected the harmony in the relationship. The pressure took its toll and both decided they should go their separate ways. They will remain life-long friends.”

Ashton Kutcher believes the key to the success of his marriage to Demi Moore is to always recognise that there is room for improvement. The 32-year-old actor tied the knot with Moore, who is 16 years his senior, back in 2005 after dating for two years. He revealed that they both make sure that they keep putting the effort into their relationship. He told E! Online, “I’m constantly reminding myself, like, no matter how amazing my relationship is, keep working on it. “Keep working on it and keep finding another level. Things can always get better, even when it’s going great.”

A source had this to say about Amy Winehouse’s new relationship: “Amy is having a great time in the carnival capital. They’ve been sneaking off together and she can’t keep the smile from her face.” Well it certainly is a few notches above Blake Fielder-Civil. Hopefully this one will go better from Amy Winehouse.

It seems that the singer has been single for quite some time now. In a recent statement on her website Shakira only now revealed that she has in fact broken-up with her eleven-year boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua, but this happened back in August. The statement reads as follows: “During our almost 11 years together we have loved each other deeply, taken care of each other and stood by one another. They have been the most wonderful years of our lives, and thanks to that love and the respect that we share for one another we have been an exceptional couple and partners.” Shakira seems to have adhered to the concept that if something is going perfectly, then it’s just boring and should be done with. Or maybe there is more to this break-up than meets the eye… especially since its been kept so hush-hush.

Hollywood stars Jude Law and Sienna Miller could be getting married in a hippy-themed wedding. Miller, 29, allegedly wants to marry the 38-year-old Sherlock Holmes star in Dorset, while wearing flowers in her hair. A close family member told British newspaper the Daily Star: “He’s given her a ring for Christmas, as well as a new house, and he intends to make her a bride this summer. “She’s going for a ‘hippy-style flowers in your hair’ wedding. She wants it to be in a small church in the English countryside with Jude’s children taking part in the ceremony. “It will probably be in Dorset or Devon.” The couple, who have reportedly splashed out on a new home in Highgate, London, could also be having kids together soon too. The insider added: “Sienna decided that this will be the home that she has children in. “There is a room for each of Jude’s children and a room for a new baby.”

TV host Ryan Seacrest has been given a $6,000 luxury toilet for his birthday. It can’t be easy finding a present for someone who earns over $50 million. But Seacreast’s best friend Laurence came up with something different for his 36th birthday.  The American Idol host told listeners of his KIIS FM radio show that he was given the luxury automatic toilet. He said that when he came home from hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, he found his friend had installed a Toto Automatic Toilet in his bathroom as a gift for his December 24th birthday. The toilet features an automatic lid, three washing modes and an integrated warm air dryer. Ryan admitted that he felt like a ‘new man’ since getting the present.

Actress Rachel Weisz has proved that her split from Darren Aronofsky was friendly after they were spotted enjoying a family trip out. Rachel, her former fiancé and their four-year-old son Henry were seen yesterday in New York City’s East Village. Darren, 41, and Weisz ended their eight-year relationship in 2010, announcing their split after being separated for several months. Weisz has since been romantically linked to Bond star Daniel Craig, 42, who were spotted together over the festive period. The 40-year-old was pictured smiling as her former boyfriend carried their child around the Big Apple.

2011 People’s Choice Pictures:

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s new reality show will be called Khloe&Lamar and will start filming early this year. The married couple are starring in their own spin-off reality show on E!, which will focus on their life together as well as Khloe’s brother Rob, the network has confirmed. The show will also follow Odom’s basketball career as he plays for the Lakers. E! executive vice president Lisa Berger said: “Khloe and Lamar are such a dynamic couple that we just knew we had to give them their own series. “They are funny, dramatic, opinionated, and we intend to capture all this, along with the unvarnished reality of their lives together and apart, since each is constantly followed by their own celebrity spotlight.” Khloe is already featured in two other E! shows – Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

Actress Calista Flockhart has revealed that she had barely a week to plan her wedding to Harrison Ford when they got hitched last year. The Brothers & Sisters star, 46, wed the 68-year-old Indiana Jones actor last June and she said they decided to get married just four days before the ceremony. Speaking to The Sunday Times Style Magazine, she said: “We decided about four days before well, we were always going to do it, then we suddenly decided to really do it. “It was perfect for me, perfect for us. I had a perfectly normal day, then I took a shower, went and got married, and we were home in time to watch the Lakers.” Asked whether Ford wore his trademark jeans to the wedding, she said: “Um, yeah, he did.”

When Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal reps were reached for comment, neither would say a word. However, other sources say that they saw this coming as the musician and the actor spent the holidays and their birthdays apart.

Former Doctor Who star David Tennant has proposed to girlfriend Georgia Moffett. The 39-year-old actor has been dating Moffett, 26, for two and a half years and they are reportedly planning to marry on New Year’s Day next year in 2012. The couple met when Moffett, who has an eight-year-old son Tyler, made an appearance in Doctor Who when she played his daughter in one episode in 2008. A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “They are besotted with each other and can’t wait to tie the knot.” Moffett’s father is the British actor Peter Davison, who also played the role of the Doctor in the Eighties.
