Even though this R&B couple was supposed to have cashed in its chits last year, it seems that Ashanti and Nelly might be back together. This is what a source claims to have seen: “Ashanti sat by his side the entire night and smiled… They seemed to be enjoying each other.” So they are back together. Maybe they’ll split up again and then give it another go and so on and so forth, either way, it’s probably good for publicity and that’s something neither Ashanti or Nelly can have too much of. It’s always a good career booster especially since it’s pretty much free.

Reality TV star Kat Von D said she is still dating Jesse James and did not deny rumours they are engaged. The tattoo artist has been the target of criticism since she began stepping out with Sandra Bullock’s infamous ex-husband. But in a new interview she likened his appearance to that of a pit bull all bark and no bite. “I think people would be surprised by what a really good person he is,” the 28-year-old said. “I think he’s probably one of the most intelligent, kindhearted human beings.” Von D, who has known James since the age of 22, added: “No one will ever truly know how it is [between them]. And that’s OK, you know. “I think he’s a good father and a good friend. I’m really lucky to have known him, even if we [had] never dated. That’s somebody that I’m proud to have in my corner.” There had been rumours the pair split, but she clarified: “Jesse and I didn’t break up.” But when asked whether a diamond ring on her left ring finger means they are engaged, she stops. “I don’t know if I really feel comfortable talking about it,” she told USA Today.
