Actress and author Jenny McCarthy is revelling in the single life.

“I’m enjoying it tremendously,” the 37-year-old said.

Stepping out in a super-skimpy ensemble at a Las Vegas event she declared, “Look at me in this outfit. Would I not be hitting this? Come on,” Us magazine reports.

McCarthy, who split from actor Jim Carrey earlier this year after five years together, recently made the move to Las Vegas with her eight-year-old son Evan.

On life in Sin City she says, “I really love it.”

“I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out to Las Vegas, believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.”

Katie Holmes turns to her young daughter for fashion advice, the actress has revealed.

“Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn’t planning on wearing. Suri made me put them on and so I was like, “Okay, I trust you,” the 31-year-old said.

Holmes explained that the home-schooled four-year-old already has her own distinct taste in clothes and the pair often alters outfits to her liking.

“I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would change up. And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it.”

The Batman Begins star gushed about her tot’s natural talent in an interview with New York magazine, saying, “Whatever she wants to do, I know she’s going to be amazing at it.”

Playing suburban housewife Betty Draper in the hit series Mad Men has turned January Jones off having a family of her own.

“I find it fun to play one of the worst mothers on television, but I’ll probably not get married or have kids of my own because of it,” she told the Los Angeles Times.

“It’s a weird job when you get paid to beat up on a kid,” she said.

The 32-year-old actress revealed how she and on-screen daughter, played by Kiernan Shipka, often reacted to their characters.

“Sometimes they’re just so ridiculous, we both start laughing. We always have a good laugh afterward to make sure I’m not hurting her or her feelings,” Jones said.

Kill Bill star Vivica A Fox got dumped in a truly humiliating way – by a press release.

The actress’s club promoter boyfriend Slimm sent numerous media outlets a notice saying they were “no longer dating” – without telling her.

Just one day later he sent out a second release – this time announcing that they were actually back together.

Slimm, it seems, had flipped out following an argument and decided to dump his love in the most public way possible – before realizing he was being silly and overreacting.

“Love is crazy sometimes!” Vivica, 46, laughed about the short-lived breakup.

Slimm, the Atlanta-based co-founder of Plush Blue Entertainment, sent out a release stating that he and Fox were finished last Wednesday.

“Hey this is Slimm, unfortunately me and Vivica are no longer dating,” read the promoter’s pronouncement.

But not even 24 hours later, Slimm had a change of heart and sent out a second release.

It read: “Vivica is an important part of my life and I would never try to hurt her. Thanks for supporting us as we figure things out.”

Courteney Cox has revealed she still struggles to believe “how different” she and husband David Arquette are.

The Cougar Town star said despite being married to her Scream co-star for 11 years, the only similarity the Hollywood couple share is their sense of humour.

Speaking to Emmy magazine she said: “He was pretty dangerous, like a bad boy. I was so young. We’re so different that each year I can’t believe how different we are. The one thing that’s similar is that we have a similar sense of humour. Well, no, that’s not true. We do not have a similar sense of humour, but his is so broad that I fit in part of it. He’s a unique human being, and a real character.”

She added that she has always shied away from rom-coms because of a lack of confidence, but that at 46 she could be ready for the challenge. “I always talked myself out of going in to read [audition scripts]. I don’t know if I had that much confidence. [Today] I’m much more content,” she said.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he runs around chasing girls now that he is single.

The 21-year-old actor posed with Our Lady J, a transsexual singer-songwriter, for the September issue of Out magazine, in which he opens up about his love life.

He said: “I was in a relationship with somebody for just about three years, and we broke up just shortly before we hit that mark…

“At the moment, I am just being single and running around chasing girls. I’m not getting too many responses, but, yes, I’m having a go.”

The London-born actor also admitted that he is new to the dating game and gets quite nervous on dates.

He said: “I’m also starting to go on dates for the first time. I’ve never really done it because all my girlfriends that I’ve ever met, I’ve met through work.”

He added: “It is quite nerve-racking because it is not something I’m used to.

“Not that I struggle with talking, but I have this incredible anxiety about awkward silences and pauses and all that stuff, which I think everybody worries about.”

Seacrest has reportedly even asked the 22-year-old dancer to move in to his LA home.

He recently paid for a hotel room to be covered in flowers to show his love for her. The source said: “There were rose petals in the Jacuzzi, bouquets all over the floor, flowers on the coffee table, and petals all over her bed. The gesture was beautiful and made Julianne’s heart melt.”

According to reports, Westwick, 23, and Szohr, 25, indulged in some PDA and drinks while hanging out at the Cabo Wabo tequila lounge.

“They were taking shots,” a source said.

“They’re definitely a couple. They were kissing and holding hands.”

But later at an after party for The Black Keys in the Sax Hotel, they were more low-key.

“They went straight to the VIP area and asked that no photos be taken. They held court at the back of the room so no one could see them,” the witness explained.

Kourtney Kardashian has blogged about the dilemma she had whether or not to give her son Mason a pacifier.

The 31-year-old gave birth to baby son Mason in December last year and said she wasn’t sure if it was right to soothe him with a pacifier.

She said on her blog: “When Mason was first born, I remember my mum always saying how mean I was for not giving him a pacifier. He just didn’t want it or care for it too much.

“As time went on, we started using a paci for Mason’s naps. As he got even a little bit older, he does not like to be in the car seat for too long, so the paci helped with that too, for a second anyway.”

She added: “I always keep a paci on me for emergency situations. It has come in handy for me especially in a restaurant or on an airplane. Do you think there is such thing as using a paci too much?

“I personally do. I love to hear Mason’s little voice, watch him smile, see his cut little facial expressions.”

The 35-year-old sportsman has been married to wife Victoria, 36, for eleven years and they have three sons together – Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five.

Speaking to reporters at Fox’s Teen Choice Awards, where he picked up the 2010’s Choice Male Athlete gong, he revealed: “[Victoria and I] make it work. We make time for each other. We work hard as individuals, but our main job is being parents.

“Our boys are our lives. They are our number one priorities. We make time for ourselves. We go for dinners.”

The 29-year-old mum-of-one – who has shrunk from a US size 16 to a size 6 in one year – says: “David [Otunga] doesn’t like change. He tells me I have no breasts anymore. He tries to feed me, [saying]: ‘You’re not going to lose any more weight, are you?’ He’s adjusting.”

The Oscar-winning Dreamgirls star makes her comments in US magazine InStyle Makeover, showing off her new figure on the cover.

The former American Idol contestant cuts a glamorous figure in a purple Herve Leger dress.

Hudson says she has lost so much weight that even her fans don’t recognise her when they see her in the flesh.

She says: “I was in the airport going through the x-ray and the girl working the machine said: ‘Anybody ever tell you, you look like Jennifer Hudson?’ I was like: ‘I am’. She said: ‘No, you’re not, because you’re skinny! Jennifer Hudson ain’t skinny’.”

Hudson also says some of her fans are not happy she has lost weight. She says: “All the big girls were like: ‘Jennifer’s not in the Big Girl Club any more’. Yes, I am and I’m going to keep my curves. I love me and as far as being confident, I was just as confident however many pounds ago, however many sizes ago, as I am now.”
