Formula 1 star Jenson Button’s romance has hit the skids.
Jenson has reached the finishing line with Japanese lingerie model Jessica Michibata, according to a new report
The couple have announced their split after dating for 18 months.
Jessica had flown out to support 30-year-old Jenson at all of his races this season, watching his wins in Australia and China.
But despite her being quite the model girlfriend, Jenson struggled making the regular visits to her base in Tokyo.
Jenson’s spokesman told MailOnline: “I can confirm that Jenson and Jessica have split up.”
It is believed F1 champ Jenson has split with Jessica so he could focus on his racing.
A source told The Sun: “Jenson had a great time with Jessica and it looked like things were moving in the right direction. But the logistic took their toll.
“Just over a week ago Jenson reluctantly decided that his racing must maintain priority. There is no one else involved.”
