Jennifer Aniston tight-lipped on those Gerard Butler rumours
Jennifer Aniston was giving nothing away on her rumoured romance with Scottish hunk Gerard Butler on late night US TV.
The tanned and toned star of The Bounty Hunter looked stunning in an asymmetrical black dress and strappy stilettos during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
She was not asked directly whether she and Butler are dating, but described him as “such a nice guy” and repeatedly referred to him affectionately as “Gerry”.
When shown a copy of W magazine, in which she and Butler pose raunchily together on the cover, the Friends favourite giggled.
Letterman admitted that the sexy shot, which shows 41-year-old Jennifer sitting on Butler’s lap, made him feel “bold-faced envy”.
At times during the interview Aniston, who is notoriously unlucky in love, appeared nervous, clasping her hands together and waggling her foot.
She looked uneasy when quizzed about why more Scottish and Australian actors seem to be replacing American actors in movie roles these days, and replied: “I don’t know, what is wrong with them?”
