Their relationship is over, but Jake Gyllenhaal hasn’t given up on reconciling with Reese Witherspoon.
According to an insider, Reese cooled the romance when she realised she wasn’t ready to take it to the next level – marriage – but now Jake is trying hard to win her back.
Not only did Jake send Reese a $75,000 Christmas present – vintage dinnerware from France for her home in Ojai, California – he’s also sent emails and flowers.
“He isn’t giving up without a fight,” a friend adds.
