Brandon Flowers buys land
The frontman from The Killers has recently purchased a patch of land in Las Vegas where he apparently wants to build his own giant neon sign… and maybe a house one day. Brandon Flowers also declared that, despite having no clear direction for The Killers, he wants his band to overcome U2’s popularity: “U2 are unbelievable but they’re getting old. I think it’s time. We want to see where this will take us. It doesn’t make any sense to place restrictions.” Oh yeah, and I’m sure that the big neon sign in the desert is the first step in Brandon Flowers’ master plan to take over the universe. But, considering what musical tastes people have today, it might just work.
