New Man for Carrie Underwood

Does the name Carrie Stork sound good to you? Sources are saying that American Idol champ Carrie Underwood might be dating former Bachelor Dr. Travis Stork. The 25-year old singer has been touring America with her ‘Carnival Ride’ tour. According to the country music blog Nashville Narc, the 36-year old former reality show star was spotted with Carrie backstage at one of her concerts. Apparently, he had an all-access pass to one of her concerts. Travis, an ER doctor, is also the host of the CBS daytime talk show ‘The Doctors’ which is a spin-off of Dr. Phil which is a spin-off of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Taylor Swift for MySpace Music

Country singing sensation Taylor Swift helps MySpace CEO and Co-founder Chris DeWolfe Kick off the launch of MySpace Music at NBC’s Today Show. The pair discussed the joint venture between music labels and MySpace Music which hosts new features for both users and artists including audio and video content, mp3-purchase possibilities and user and artist playlists as well as provide monetization opportunities for its active music community. In other Taylor Swift news, the 18-year old country sweetheart has also been announced as one of the performers for this year’s CMA Awards which will air live from Nashville, Tennessee on November 12.
No commentsNew David Cook

American Idol champion David Cook has finally released his first official single called ‘Light On’ on Popeater. The chorus goes “Try to leave a light on when I’m gone/Something I rely on to get home/One I can feel at night/A naked light, a fire to keep me warm/Try to leave a light on when I’m gone/Even in the daylight, shine on/And when it’s late at night you can look inside/You won’t feel so alone.” Not only did David Archuleta beat him to releasing a first single but I think the little David will beat him in the long run. I’m sorry to all Cook fans but I just don’t think that the song is going to cut it. I think he’s better off with making covers – that or he needs a new set of writers.
Cheetah Girls Promote New Show

Sabrina Bryan, Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon, collectively known as the Cheetah Girls were recently out promoting the new season of their Disney Channel show at Circo Price theater in Madrid, Spain. Apart from promoting their show, the girl group also had their first ever concert performance in Europe! Disney Channel Spain celebrated its #1 status with kids and families among all thematic channels on broadcast TV with the cast of ‘The Cheetah Girls: One World’ in Madrid. The girls are growing international. Maybe they can reach Jonas Brothers status one of these days. Maybe they can even tour together.
Rare Jonas Sighting

When you get a rare picture like this, you just have to fall in love with it. Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers almost always has his naturally curly hair flat ironed straight. But a fan ran into Joe at Mel’s Diner in Los Angeles recently when the pop star wasn’t sporting his usually ironed straight hair. I guess it was Joe’s off time. He must not have a hairstylist on call 24/7 or he was just too lazy to iron his hair before he went out. Embrace the curl Joe! You look good either way anyway. You’re hot no matter what!
No commentsThere are some tough days for Miley Cyrus ahead
Despite the joy of celebrating a huge Sweet-16 birthday party on October 5 in Disneyland theme park in California, there are still some tough days ahead for the child star.
Her parents gifted her with a pet dog but then they confiscated her credit card for excessive use and exceeding the limit.
Miley’s step mom Leticia took control of the plastic after discovering that she had overindulged.
Speaking at the party, Leticia revealed, “She had a credit card, and she went a little over her limit the other day, so I said, ‘No credit card for six months’.”
What a set back for the beautiful Miley! How would she buy her clothes now? I hope that it will ease up the things for her as she has already shown her consent to do sexy scenes without clothes.

Pink Reaches Number One With “So What”
This week, singer/songwriter P!nk ascends to the number one position on the U.S. singles chart with her smash hit, “So What.” The irresistible rocking single tops Billboard’s “Hot 100 Singles,” “Hot Digital Songs” and “Hot Digital Tracks” charts, and is the number one radio airplay gainer for four weeks in a row, making it one of the top 10 most played songs at CHR radio stations. The David Meyers directed video is currently in rotation on VH-1, Fuse, Music Choice, and is one of the top ten videos on MTV.
“So What” was co-written by P!nk and produced by collaborator Max Martin, who worked with her on “Who Knew” and ”U + Ur Hand.” The New York Times describes the first single from her forthcoming album, Funhouse, as “guitar-charged and aggressively bouncy.” Funhouse is her fifth studio effort and is slated for release on October 28th.

No commentsPCD Album Full of Solo Material

Nicole Scherzinger recently talked to HX magazine about her long-delayed solo album. She said “Despite what other people might write, it was my decision, ultimately. I actually put some of my solo songs on this Pussycat Dolls album. Everything is all about timing. I believe it will come out next year, and it will be able to coexist wonderfully with the Dolls album. It’s completely separate from what you’ve heard with “Baby Love” and “Whatever U Like,” and I’m still working on it—that’s what happens when you’re a perfectionist. But I’m excited because you do only get one chance to put out your first solo album, and it will only come out when I feel like it’s ready.”
No commentsJonas Brothers for MySpace

The Jonas Brothers are one of three artists featured in an outdoor billboard campaign for MySpace Music in New York City’s Times Square. MIA and Lil Wayne are the other two featured artists. It’s all publicity for MySpace’s taste of the pie for digital media with their new venture. Considering that they’ve done a lot for artists like Colbie Caillat for one, I think they’d be greatly received. iTunes is about to get some competition. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Monopoly is an evil thing especially in a capitalist world. Plus, you can cheat with MySpace and be able to download stuff for free sometimes. Shh! Don’t tell anyone.

No commentsTokio Hotel Snag Best New Artist Over Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry
Tokio Hotel sure know how to make an entrance. The band turned heads left and right when they rolled up to the VMA red carpet in style this past weekend on a decked out monster truck blasting their single “Monsoon.” After admitting that they didn’t expect to take home a moon man, Tokio Hotel were shocked when Chace Crawford and Lauren Conrad announced their name as the winner of Best New Artist beating out the likes of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Check out this week’s Episode of Tokio Hotel TV for a behind the scenes look at the band’s VMA experience including their reaction to the win backstage and star studded photos from the night.
