The guys in Plain White T’s have learned a bit about life since “Hey There Delilah” and that’s no more evident than in the new video for the infectious single, “Natural Disaster”. No longer is the band wallowing after long gone college sweethearts; this time they’re the ones with the upper hand as they swagger into the club and can have their pick of any girl who crosses their path. After being nominated for two VMAs (best new artist and best pop video), Tokio Hotel have extended their US stay and are set to take over Hollywood with performances on Jimmy Kimmel (9/9) and at local landmark Hollywood & Highland (9/6). Fans are in for a treat as Kimmel has invited the band to rock out on the infamous outdoor stage with a 5-song set including hit single “Monsoon.” Fandemonium is sure to ensue as the 10 craziest fans at Hollywood & Highland will be awarded VIP treatment with early admission to the Kimmel performance and their fifteen minutes of fame on national TV. The Veronicas are wrapping up their dates with the Jonas Brothers and heading out on the road with another trio of brothers. Lisa and Jess will hop on tour with Hanson for a slew of dates beginning September 21st in Dallas through October 7th in Alabama. Teen country music sensation Taylor Swift has released a new music video for her song ‘Love Story’ which is the first official single off of her sophomore studio effort ‘Fearless’. Here’s the chorus to the song so you can sing along if you hear it or see the video: “Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone/I’ll be waiting, all there’s left to do is run/You be the prince and I’ll be the princess/It’s a love story, baby, just say yes.” By the way, the guy in the video is ‘Nashville Star’ contestant Justin Gaston. If his name sounds familiar to you, he’s the guy who’s been recently linked to Miley Cyrus.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks told Entertainment Weekly that she stands by the comment that she made at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards but she wishes that she could have reworded it a bit. She said “It’s something I feel strongly about. I wish I would’ve worded it differently — that somebody who doesn’t wear a promise ring isn’t necessarily a slut — but I can’t take it back now. It was a split-second thing, and it came out kind of wrong. Still, I don’t regret it.” When she was asked about how she felt about 2008 MTV VMAs host Russell Brand, Jordin said “I have nothing against him at all.”

KT Tunstall’s wait has finally ended as she is officially married to Luke Bullen. According to People, the couple wed on a Scottish island. The 33-year old singer held the ceremony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the Isle of Skye. A pal of the singer says “They wanted to keep it as a private event for family and friends. It was just as they wanted it!” KT wore a strapless gown covered with crystals and finished off her look with simple jewellery. There were 150 guests to witness the ceremony and celebrate with the happy couple. Congratulations to KT and her new husband!

Someone definitely got off lucky as the insane guy who snuck on stage and pushed Oasis singer Noel Gallagher into some speakers in the middle of a Canadian gig last weekend was charged with assault on Monday. The assailant is lucky that the bad boys from Manchester didn’t get a good hold of him. The Gallaghers are the type of guys that you wouldn’t even dare to look at if you ran into them on the street. The attacker obviously didn’t know who he was dealing with. After his attack, the boys didn’t hesitate to fight back. Too bad they weren’t able to finish the job as they still had a show to do.

Something must be in the air as Natasha Bedinfield, the British singer of ‘The Hills’ theme song ‘Unwritten’ has just gotten engaged to her American boyfriend of two years, businessman Matthew Robinson. She revealed the news at the Calvin Klein Fashion Week event last weekend. Natasha told the media present that “It just happened. But I am so excited, and it happened in New York. And I want to share it with the world.” She also admitted that she’s ready to start a family. I don’t think Hollywood can handle any more of the baby rush. Who isn’t having a kid these days? A date hasn’t been set for the wedding though with the singer saying “We haven’t thought about a date. We’re just celebrating.” Congratulations to Natasha!

Disney princess Demi Lovato told MTV News about showmanship, gossip sites and friends all in one story recently. She said “I fell at a show this one time. Actually, I’ve fallen several times — like, four times already. But this one time I fell, it was the only one that made Perez Hilton and YouTube. I didn’t think anything of it when it happened. I just laughed it off onstage. But the next day, I see that it hit the Internet, and I was like, ‘Nooooooo.’ It totally stung, because I wasn’t expecting it. But I didn’t get hurt, and Joe [Jonas] helped me out a lot with that. He made a ton of jokes about it.” Aww, how sweet.

Lauren Conrad, a reality star who believes that she’s part of the Hollywood A-list, has acquired a three book deal with Harper Collins.  LC will write a series of teen fiction novels called “L.A. Candy” which tells the story of a rich young girl who tries her luck in Los Angeles.  SOUNDS FAMILIAR?  Lauren says the story will mirror her own life.

Lauren says, “I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to…  I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”

My dreams have come true!  I have always wanted to read a book version of the Hills.  That’ll be so exciting.  Can’t wait!

The Jonas Brothers publicly commented for the first time on Russell Brand making fun of their virginity during this past weekend’s VMAs.
The brothers are very much cool with his mockery. Nick said, “For us it’s cool to see that he recognizes we are gentleman.” Nick also thought that Brand was hilarious when he guested on Conan O’Brien.

Nick also said, “I don’t know if there is really a positive (to come out of Russell’s comments) – he was kind of running out of material after a little while.”

And when asked if they had a message to give Brand, big bro Joe said, “I’d give him a hug. I think he needs a hug!”

Hugs make the world a happier place! Haha, I’d love to see Joe give Russell a hug.

The brothers also shared the thrill of meeting popstar Britney Spears.

Joe said, “We met a lot of people there- we met Britney Spears and she was incredible!”

Never did I imagine that I will use those words in one sentence ever again. At the recent 2008 MTV VMAs, Britney Spears gathered a standing ovation plus three moonmen for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year.

The 26-year-old comeback pop princess just revealed her next album will be released by late December. “It’s my best work ever,” Britney proudly told OK!.
Britney also said she is planning a big birthday bash to celebrate Jayden’s second birthday on Sept. 12 and Preston’s third birthday on Sept. 14, with the help of her father.

“I want to have a traditional party,” she said. “I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite.”
And as far as her custody battle goes, “her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons as soon as her dad, Jamie’s status as her conservator ends,” a Spears insider revealed.

As I mentioned several posts back, Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model bombed it’s premier episode.
According to the ratings, the two-hour Top Model premiere was down 11% from the February cycle and a hefty 32% less than the September 2007 series premiere.

Good thing for her, her other show is going great! The fourth season debut of The Tyra Banks Show, ranked in as number one with female viewers 18-34 – among all other talk shows! At least something in her life is going right. Good news for Ms. Banks.

According to show, she has some pretty interesting topics for this season.

She just opened up by stripping down to help women “feel better about them by helping them recognize their true beauty.”

And on the next episode, she’s going to talk about why some African American women “take drastic measures to change their skin tone by bleaching their skin to make it
lighter.”

She better get Michael Jackson for her show! Her ratings will definitely soar!
